Chapter 2: Becoming a Slime

Hiss... Alright, I guess I have to accept reality then...

"If I have a single wish which will make me gain near the 3 big O's or eventually gain one aspect can I have it in exchange for the 3 wishes?"

"Yes, but not exactly. You can only gain near one of the O's (Omnipotence, Omniscience, and Omnipresence: All-powerful, All-knowing, All-present/Ubiquity) or some of them. Strict rules are in place, and it depends upon many factors such as luck, fortuitous encounters, and certain power limits need to be exceeded. However, you request is not necessarily hard to accomplish. The only condition is that you will only, as you perceived, can get a tad amount of close as one can get to one of the big O's."

"Also, don't think that you get it immediately, I can only ensure that you will gain these eventually once you find the right path. But it is more or less settled that you can get it through one way or another within a certain time period. With that out of the way, quickly spin this wheel containing random numbers, each of which correspond to a different earth, with a different reality. Don't worry you'll get a small debrief of whatever reality you randomly get so as you won't get too lost on what kind of world you've landed into."

"Okay then, I wish to have the initial powers of that Slime in that Anime that I saw." said Martin.

"Wish granted. But do note that you'd have to be a reborn as a slime as well, some powers cannot be used without the physiology of a slime, you see." reminded the god.

"I understand that's quite reasonable. For my last wish, I'd like to be able to cultivate both plants and animals – farming has always appealed to my tastes of earning from the fruits and blessing from the land." replied Martin as cool and level-headed as possible. He always had a rational side - a side effect from being a jack of all trades.

"Granted." said god.

He came up the wheel, floating himself towards it, and with his current existence as a soul, he wonder how he will even be able to get it to spin. The god reads his mind and immediately says,

"Just say with intent, 'Spin' and it will do as you asked."

*Spin!!!!*

With seemingly game like mechanics, a random number was pointed and displayed on the air

"Ea-295.595-Apo-v-12"

"You've gotten quite the interesting world eh? Hmm... let me see for a bit... Ahh.. This world is in an apocalyptic state ever since the year 2212, the cause of which is a meteor containing a foreign substance that carried a unique radiation, causing most life on earth to mutate and gain strange powers.

Some humans have gained power by absorbing said radiation or energy through... what did they call it again?

*looks to the side, gestures and waves, only for a book to appear*

The god in-charge then said "This is a catalog summarizing each unique universe and their variants. Hmm... hang on... let me find out for a bit... aanndd done. They do cultivation, yadda yadda yadda, huh... interesting. So it turn's out this universe is a mixture between two novels/manga/manhua which you would quite familiar with. Does "I have a Mansion in the Apocalypse" and "I am the Last Human" sound familiar? If so then it's exactly that, not all characters will be there though, so it's kind if a mash-up, but at the same time it isn't.

For the specifics you would have to see for yourself. Mankind has adapted though, in order to brave the dangers of the many sorts of infected."

"Well now... Don't worry about your family, I'll see to it that they live a good life, your siblings as well. See this universe for yourself, survive, thrive and live."

Martin took a bow (the intent was transferred and understood by the god despite Martin being in soul form) and said a grateful thank you, for having another shot at life, regardless of what world it is.

*Inner dialouge* Strangely enough, though I died, god seems to have made me more calm as I needed to quickly accept my fate, and focus more on surviving. Despite leaving my family, I knew they'd be fine. I had backup plans ready in case of my sudden passing. It was as if he had foreseen that my early years would be spent purely on adapting to everything.

And so he went to be reincarnated, with a more stable looking wormhole appearing below him. His consciousness fading to black up until he was able to sense his basic sense of touch. A voice sounded out and announced a couple of things.
