Occult Happenings

The team gathered around the item that Bas found. It was indeed no totem I recognize. Neither does Violet. Going through our databases, we determined what it was. It wasn't anything good.

I told the team, "This isn't a totem, it is a marker. This inhuman skull is a formation marker. As for what the formation is, we can't know until we find enough of the others to get a pattern down."

Everyone fell into unease. As they all understand that we are now within some unknown occult formation.

It was at this point that a new voice entered our communication channel.

"Students, this is Prof. Hussein. I have of course been watching. The exercise is canceled and you all are to vacate the infected zone. I wanted you all out of their a month ago too, so get moving!"

For the short time we have all known him. We all know Prof. Hussein doesn't bullshit. If he wanted us out a month ago, then this marker is serious.
