First Thing's First

Namaru stares out, in shock, at what his village, his home, has turned in to. He turns to Yuri. "What happened here?" Yuri looks down at the ground. "I wouldn't be able to tell you. The city has been like this ever since I was born. I have only heard stories. If only I knew what it looked like before." Namaru says, with a tear rolling down his face, "It was a beautiful village. Buildings upon buildings, the smell of ramen wafting through the air, different areas where the different clans lived, and a river running through it all with 3 bridges crossing it at 3 different locations, all surrounded by a giant wall with 3 main gates. There was a mansion at the back of it all where the village leaders stayed. They were known as the Hokage. There were 10 in the village's history. The last one disappeared without a trace. As soon as he did, the village fell. He was seen as one of the strongest Hokage this village has ever had."

"Who were the other strongest Hokage?" Namaru looks up and out into the distance with a blank stare. "There were 4 others besides him. Hashirama Senju; The First, Minato Namikaze; The Fourth, Naruto Uzumaki; The Seventh, and my best friend, Chino Tsurara, the Ninth. I guess they weren't strong enough to stop whatever hit this place. Apparently the 10th wasn't the only one to flee." Namaru looks over to the wall at the back of the city. "At least they left the Hokage faces up, but now they're all vandalized, especially the 10th's."

"Where did your clan stay?" "The Uchiha had their own place separate from the rest of the village for a while, but most of the clan was wiped out in a giant massacre done by Itachi Uchiha and Obito Uchiha, who went by Tobi. Itachi took all of the blame, and left to become a notorious criminal. Anyway, enough about my clan's past. It hurts to talk about it. What stories have you heard about this place?" "Well, I heard a group of Samurai, currently being lead by a man by the name of Musashi Miyamoto, moved in after the disappearance of the 10th, and the deaths of the 7th, 8th, and 9th, they ransacked the place, leaving hardly anyone alive.

"But the Samurai were always weak. There was no way they beat an entire village of chakra users. There were other Uchiha living there, plus the 7th and 8th Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha. Not to mention they probably got help from Sasuke Uchiha, the Legendary Wandering Shinobi. Naruto and Sasuke were the two strongest shinobi to ever exist. The only two even remotely comparable would be Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha." "Those last two, I've heard of. They were legendary. But as I said before, they waited until all of the potential threats died that way they could stand a chance."

"I should've been there to protect my people. I was feared by many, and known by all. I possess the Sharingan of the Uchiha, and am also a Jinchuuriki." "What is a Jinchuuriki?" "Ever heard of the 9 tailed beasts?" "Well, of course. They still exist." "I'm aware of that. They can't die, as they are made of Chakra and will always reform unless that chakra is expended through the use of Baryon mode. A Jinchuuriki is a being that has one of them sealed away inside him/her. I had, and still have, the 6 Tails, Saiken sealed within me." "Saiken was said to have disappeared. He was in you all this time?"

"Yes. I try not to rely on his power too much, though. It makes me feel like I'm cheating in battle." "Then why become a Jinchuuriki?" "I didn't want to. It wasn't my choice. He was sealed away when I was born. As I aged, I learned how to bond with him. Now we are good friends, but I still don't rely on him much. Anyway, continue your story." "From what I've heard the Samurai finally succeeded, but only after the shinobi in their way died of natural causes. Meaning those Shinobi you were just talking about didn't fall in battle. The samurai waited for age to hit them. The battle ended about 100 years ago with the outlawing of Chakra use, except to the Samurai." Namaru sighs, before saying, "I'll need my sword."
