How She Know

Dee POV

'What's with the sudden vital fluid? Exhausted. Tired. Worn out. Wanna lay on the bed all day'

Nurul post a tweet about being tired 9 minutes ago. Was she sick? She wants to ask her but she needed to mop the dining room as she just vacuumed the room before. 'I will make sure to ask her later' She thought. After mopping, she grabbed and switched on her phone for some minutes.

"You fine, Nurul?" She texted her and somehow could sense that Nurul has problems.

"I'm good" Nurul shortly replied. Just that? Really, Nurul?

"You sure you good?" She typed and send it after. She asked for the second time for confirmation.

"I don't wanna make you or Aifaa worried... but... I'm a bit tired after vomiting blood the last 2 days..." Nurul seemed secretive not wanting to tell her at first but she did nevertheless.

"And... yesterday as well after my appointment with a doctor. The doctor said maybe because I have a sore throat as I coughing non-stop and did 4 types of tests to boot. Tired oh tired" Nurul told her what had happened these past few days.

"Really?!! Oh Ya Allah! Coughing blood?!! Are you really okay now? Because I don't believe you if you said okay..." She replied and her eyes enlarged. "Have you coughed blood before? Or do you have family members with cancer or any severe sickness? She curiously added.

"Are you my doctor now? Oh please treat me, Dr Dee. Hahaha... It's my first time though I don't have family members with severe sickness. Weird, right? But anything could happen" Nurul playfully replied except for the last sentence as it was no laughing matter.

"Are you crazy? Haha. You will die, bro. If you are here with me right now, you will definitely be laying on the bed all day. EVEN FORCE YOU TO EAT ALL THE REQUIRED MEDICINES AND SHOWERING YOU IF I HAD TO" She replied back to her and emphasised the last sentence purposely.

She then asked her other questions as well as made a hilarious joke to brighten her day. Nurul told her not to worry as the doctor already gave her medicine and she ate it even though she does not like it. If Nurul did not eat it, then she will force her for sure until she swallows it in front of her. She takes it seriously as it was the first time happened to Nurul but the other just stay calmed as nothing significant had happened.

1 hour later

"Salam, Dee. I wanna ask you something so answer me, okay?" Aifaa texted her after her long conversation with Nurul.

"Yes? About what?" She asked.

"How to be strong like you? I mean... I'm tired every time I met Badri, he always teased me. I don't like it and I hope I can avoid myself from people like him in the future" Aifaa sent as she was tired of his tease and bully whilst she was thirsty thus she put her phone on her table and went to the kitchen.

"Dee? Dee?" Aifaa sent one more text.

"Where are you? Hello?" She began spamming her.

"Wui... wui..."

"Where are you? Here I am... here I am... how do you do?"

"Hello, it's me... Hello from the other side..." She just finished drinking after 10 minutes stepping from her room to the kitchen and went to her room not long after. She picked up her phone and saw many messages in the notification.

"What the?!! I left her for just 10 minutes and now she spamming me? Ya Allah... she even sings??? What's wrong with her?!! Ey! This girl..." She muttered and shook her head then quickly typing.

"Ah... about Badri. You know... I'm not strong like what you think... but you must keep in your mind to stay calm. Don't serve people like him as they will eventually stop. Think of him like a stone a.k.a not exist. Make yourself busy with anything but him. He doesn't deserve your attention, Aifaa. You know your time is precious" She advised her and at the same time giggling as she thought they were cute when they bickering. Yet Aifaa was fed up to the back teeth with him. Okay, I'm out.

"Thank you, taciturn gurl! You're really helping me ease my worries. Muahhh a little" Aifaa sent.

Krik krik! Krik krik!

"Aik? Gone already? Not gonna spam me again?" She talked under her breath and shrugged her shoulders after. She thought Aifaa will spam her once again but no. She then moved to her bed laying till her eyes shut by themselves and zizzed off after a few minutes.

Nurul POV

(Continue earlier conversation)

"Please, don't. I hate medicine. Even just looking at it makes my mood swing. I also felt my energy easily drain lately since that day" She typed while making an 'ew disgusting' face the moment Dee mention medicines. It was bitter! Her face also paled as she stared at a mirror near her bed.

"You had dinner?" Dee asked.

"Yes, it's already thirty-one past eight. Of course, I had just now" She replied while smiling.

"Who knows if you don't have an appetite to eat. By the way, I wanna ask about Z" Dee suddenly mentioned Zambri.

"Zambri? What about him?" She asked and knitted her brows. Unexpected.

"Are you guys..." Dee sent a sceptical text and she knew what Dee meant. She quickly typed.

"Dee, we're not. I have nothing to do with him" She replied and rolled her eyeballs. Why did Dee ask about him all of a sudden?

"Okay, okay. I'm just joking" Dee immediately sent.

"It's not funny, okay" She was somewhat serious but trying to compose herself.

"I'm sorry... don't be mad. But aren't you close with him before?" Dee began queried.

"Yes, we are close but that was then. He changed after months and I don't know why" She told further. She wants to know the reason but forcing him would just make things worse.

"Weird... how come??? I thought you guys were on good terms even not talking much like before" Dee sent. She could see Dee's shocking front even she was not beside her.

"He still talks to me but ya... He became distant and WILL talk with me ONLY when he HAVE to" She described. Pathetic.

"It's been 2 years and I thought you were hiding your relationship with him like a confidential relationship... where nobody should know about it including your best friends and parents too" Dee showed her thoughts all this while. It was a piece of appalling news to her.

"No way and I won't, Dee... I wanna know too why... and until now I still don't understand. He should have just told me the reason but I'm too lazy to care. And besides, I have you and Aifaa who are much more important than him" She replied with a genuine certainty. Affectionate.

"Whoa, unbelievable. 2 years Nurul, 2 YEARS... I'm your best friend but I don't even know such a thing" Dee was still beyond belief. Speechless.

"It's not important, Dee. It's already in the past. If he doesn't wanna tell me then who the f*ck cares" She was furious in some way every time she recalled the past especially about him. She did not mad at Dee but contrariwise.

"Woah, okay okay. Then... rest well, barmy. Sorry for disturbing you... and take care, bro. Don't forget to EAT your medicine as well as good night!" Dee decided to stop messaging her as she by some means realised they were texting non-stop and might be butt in on with her business.

"Nah, you don't. I will eat, shorty. Don't worry HAHAHA you too be safe! Good night as well!" She gently grinned ear to ear and sent Dee the last text for the day. It was time for her to get her beauty sleep. Goodbye, world. Goodbye, each and every one.

Without Nurul's cognizance, she was actually puked vital fluid not coughed blood. She was confused yet believed what the doctor told her. She was mistaken. Not the doctor's fault albeit did tests and such. But nobody knows. She relied on the information as the doctor spoke. Might be the reality that she has to face. In the doctor she has faith.
