Miki shoved down his Lucky Charms and headed out the door. Today was his first day in high school, and his was psyched.
"Woah, woah, little bro, first of all, you forgot your..... everything, and also, I haven't taught you about 'THE RULES OF THE HIGH SCHOOL'." Miki's older brother Akito made his words sound important, stopping Miki in his tracks.
"Ugh, Akito, give me a break. I'm gonna be laaaaaate." Miki whined, gathering everything that he forgot, shoving it into his backpack.
"I can drive you, and also the first rule is that you can never be excited for school. It's against humanity." Akito rolled his eyes and grabbed his keys.
"What? Come ON, I'm gonna be even MORE late." It was Miki's turn to roll his eyes.
"Come ON, Miki, they're very important." Akito had a slight bit of mockery in his tone.
Miki shoved him out the door, giving him a look to shut up and get in. Akito rolled his eyes and slipped into his seat, Miki in the passenger seat.
"THANK you." Miki rolled his eyes and leaned into the leather seat.
"Oh no, thank me when you hear the 'RULES OF THE HIGH SCHOOL' and when you survive your first year." Akito smirked and launched into his rant of the freshman year.
Soon they reached the parking lot of the high school. "And most importantly, don't talk to girls. That's a big problem." Akito finished.
Miki got out of the car. "You notice I wasn't listening, right?" He called from the outside of the glass.
Akito made a shocked expression while Miki laughed.
*Well, off to a fresh start. Don't mess it up for yourself, Miki. You'll die.* Miki thought.
He clutched his backpack handles and walked into the school.
*Most importantly, don't talk about the Mscilly. They can't know you can transform into a wolf.*
Miki remembered what his mother had told him. To contain the itches to transform. They were one of the rarest families that had the power to be a wolf. They weren't the myth werewolves, exactly, they actually transformed only in the morning.
Miki got to his class, suddenly self-conscious and overwhelmed.
"Hi, you're our new classmate Miki, right?" A blonde-haired woman said to him politely, holding a clipboard in her hand. "This is our home-room. You have to make it yourselves to your classes."
Miki nodded and found a seat next to a red-haired girl chewing bubble gum. She suddenly glared at him, twirling her hair around her finger. "Watch it, buster." She snapped.
*I...didn't do anything...* He thought, turning his gaze to the teacher.
"Remember, you have to be at your classes on time. If you miss them, then you will be in detention at the end of the day." Her voice rang clear among the room.
Miki gulped. This was going to be a hard school year.
