Robin and David's outstanding performance in military medical college.

Veronica at home doing the household chores sat in the sitting room thinking about Robin, wondering why Robin didn't inform her that he was going to join the military.

"Robin, why did you go to the military college without informing me?" Veronica said to herself.

She recalled in primary school she used to perform poorly but when she met Robin she meant her world there was a knock at the door Dr. Ben came in he was very happy.

"Father I see you in a different mood you are happy did you win a jackpot? Veronica asked

"No, money can ever buy happiness my daughter happiness is a gift from God and it depends on how you take your life you can make your life to be unbearable or we can create happiness within ourselves without inducing it" Dr. Ben explained.

"By the way, your friend Robin is doing outstandingly perfect he has enrolled in a military training college he is going to get fully sponsored in his studies" Dr. Benbreaksk the news to her.

"I thought he was going to be a professional serviceman in the military," Veronica said.

"No, he will pass through the military training for three months then he is going to be admitted to the military medical training college and pursue the medicine course of his choice which is being fully paid for by the government" Dr. Ben said.

"I wish I knew I could join him for the military recruitment exercise" Veronica responded.

"He is a lucky man," Veronica said.

"No, I don't believe in luck I believe in your smartness in life where you take action at the right time and go to where the opportunities are" Dr. Ben reiterated.

"Don't worry you are going to pursue a medicine course at the Kenyatta university I have already applied for you through my fellow lecturer in the university teaching medicine?" Dr. Ben said.

Veronica hugged her father in happiness.

"You are the only father I have ever known in my life I have never found a father like," Veronica said emotionally.

She shed tears of happiness as her father held her tight in his arms.

My daughter, it will be well, your friend Robin has no father he had no one to support him, you have me The best doctor in Kenya" Dr. Ben said boldly.

The time goes by David and Robin continued studying as they progressed they were thinking about one another, not knowing that both of them were in the military college, and David thought hard.

"How am I going to reach my twin brother I hope is doing good I have Robin has gotten a job I hope sandy is well I hope Sarah and Joshua are fine I hope our biological parents are doing good," David asked himself.

They were in class doing the final practice for the afternoon his classmates realized that David is not in the right mood Charles came and sat next to him.

"Comrade, what is bothering you I have seen you since we started our practical lesson you are not happy at all" Charles asked.

"Soldier, I have the paradox to unravel, and for me to unravel need me to be outside the military but I have to be here to get the money to aid me to unravel the paradox surrounding my life," David said.

Charles sat and looked at him in surprise.

"You talk using figurative language I may not get but if you may explain to me I might be of assistance to you," Charles said.

It's a long story I will explain it to you when we break I see the lecturer is winding up the class.

"The practical class was very interesting I like your class it is the most interesting class I have ever attended in all the military schools," the professor said.

The students clapped, the professor held his books to wind the class the soldiers stood and saluted the professor and laughed.

"Tomorrow get prepared we are going to have a major practical to do and we have specimen K I will not tell you what it is but you will come to see it for yourself," the professor said.

"Okay, sir" Soldiers said and saluted.

"You are saluting for me and I am just a civilian professor," Professor said.

The soldier laughed and saluted him again he saluted back in a civilian way the soldiers laughed.

"We are ready to teach you a military way of life as you teach us medical skills," Charles said.

"Okay let's meet tomorrow in the lap and remember there is specimen K prepare yourselves emotionally," the professor said.

The professor saluted and moved outside the class the student's soldiers followed him outside the class, soldiers went to their hostels.

Charles followed David to his hostels they found that evening meals had already been served they started taking tea to refresh their minds after a very hard practical class.

"The professor is very friendly I liked how he teaches he has mustered the medical course he knows everything regarding the body of a human being," Charles said.

"What do you think it is that specimen K that he said we will examine tomorrow?" Charles asked.

"It's a human corpse get prepared if you fear a dead man be ready to compose your emotions," David said.

"So long as it is not stinking I will not have any problem" Charles responded.

David laughed at Charles he removed the remote and switched on the television there was breaking news of the soldiers going to Somalia to join other soldiers to fight the terrorist group David and Charles watched.

"Immediately after our pass out in the next months the soldiers we trained together will be sent to the military mission," Charles said.

"We are Lucky we are military medical students we are not going on a military combat mission," David said.

Charles saw that David is back to his moods, he observed him closely as he watched the news he realized that it was the best time for him to ask him.

"David, what was bothering you in class?" Charles asked.

"Thanks for reminding me for sure I don't know my real identity that is why I am always in dip thought," David said.

"Please I am not getting you can you explain you're living me in suspense," Charles asked.

"I have a brother I believe he is my twin brother, we were brought up by different mothers, we are identical but, I suspect that we were from the same family," David said.

"I see sense in your story," Charles said.

"Where is your brother?" Charles asked.

"We parted immediately we passed the traditional initiation in Kericho he went to Kisumu I came to Nakuru," David said.

"What made you suspect that you are twin brothers?" Charles asked.

"My mother Maggy and Sandy were midwives in Kericho hospital we don't know what happened in our birth only our mothers know we might have been taken from the hands of our biological mother?" David said.

"All that makes sense to me but it requires a professional defective to be hired to do an investigation," Charles said.

"That was our initial plan with my brother but we parted," David said sadly.

"If I may ask you are you serious to pursue them through a private detective? Charles asked.

"Yes, no matter the cost I am willing to sacrifice all my resources disposable resources to get to the bottom of this" David said.

"You advise me on what can I do?" David asked.

"You need to hire a private detective to do this work for you" Charles responded.

"How am I going to access the one I don't have money for?" David asked.

"You already have money in your account they have deposited for us a million shillings each" Charles said.

"Just like that?" David asked

"Yes you are a doctor now we will be graduating when already our money is in our accounts a million Kenyan shillings other recruits are a half a million," Charles said.
