James!!

"Hey man, you ok?" I asked the person standing in front of me.

Then he slowly turned around and we both covered our faces in horror, his mouth was covered with blood and his eyes were all white, I noticed that there was a person next to him I peeked at the person next to him and moved back a few steps it was a dreadful sight.

I stammeringly said " T...T...The person next to him it - n...no I...i..it can't be J...J...James" tears started to flow from my eyes and my knees started to shiver and my legs became powerless and I fell on my knees and the monster started coming towards us slowly.

Ava supported me and said " I'm sorry for your loss but we go, he protected everyone from the monster so we must respect a deadman's wish " I nodded and wiped my tears there was a baseball bat on the left side of me I quickly grabbed it and dashed towards the monster.

The monster also dashed toward me, I quickly gripped the handle of the baseball bat and smashed the baseball bat in the head which made a fountain of blood come out from his body.

I sat beside the remaining body of James and said "Buddy, your friend killed the F*****" I looked at Ava and added " Let me bury the body" although she nodded in agreement, the look on my face made her run shivers down her spine.

We buried his body in the school playground and I sat near his grave and said, "You loved your practice didn't you...in the morning whether it rains or snow you never left your track practice did you".

I covered my eyes to cry and added "Why...Why did you leave me alone?" Ava suddenly hugged me and said, "It's alright you were never alone and you never will be".

I looked at her and wiped my tears and said" Yeah you're right he gave his life trying to save others" although I said that there was still a pang of lingering guilt in my heart that I was not able to save him.
