07: Controlling

In the middle of the night inside a forest, to a simple looking wooden house, there was a young boy with a messy hair sitting cross legged with his eyes closed on the grass outside the house. He took a deep breath and seem to be comprehending something.

Whooohh~

He let out a breath and opened his eyes that looked serene. Light suddenly appeared all over his body, while at the same time he tried absorbing all of the light surrounding him. In a flash all the light was sucked into his body like a black hole.

After the light disappeared, another light enveloped his entire body as he then absorbed all the light again.

"Damn, isn't he getting stronger quickly these days." Whispered Adam as he look at Perseus excitingly.

Haahhh~

Perseus let out another breath but this time he seemed more relaxed.

"You've become stronger again!" Said Adam as he walked towards perseus and gave him a glass of water.

"Thanks." Perseus said gratefully as he then drank the water and asked, "Why aren't you sleeping yet?"

"After sensing your energy how could i sleep?" Said Adam jokingly as he added, "You've become strong again!"

"Yeah, but i feel like that this strength that i have now is still not enough. I feel like i need to become more stronger." Said Perseus indifferently as he gazed at the starry night sky.

"I also had that feeling too, ever since that light lit up the whole world there's this voice that says, 'Get stronger. You need more power. This isn't enough.' and somehow i unconsciously follows it." Adam said, he was kinda frustrated as he feels being controlled by someone, someone's trying to take his freedom.

"Do you think that it might be the parasites?" Asked Perseus he was now looking at Adam who was also looking at him.

"Yes, they seem to be using us to recover their lost strength and once their strong enough they might even take over our bodies, we'll lost our consciousness, our will, while a random creature takes over it." Adam replied with a serious look. He was not the only one thinking about this kind of topic but also perseus and some people who is smart enough.

But before such a thing could happen they need to be strong at that time, notjust physically but also mentally as the parasite might start with their brain, they need to fortify their will. Such a thing is a nightmare to anyone having your body take over by somebody else and lose your will, you'll be stuck on a world full of darkness that even all your five senses couldn't even work.

"Let's just go and sleep for tonight, let's worry all these things when such an event would happen in the future." Perseus said trying to calm Adam from overthinking as he then stood up. Adam was his only human friend, ever since he saved him, Adam was eternally grateful towards him if it hadn't for him he wouldt be breathing anymore. Despite his looks which kinda look a little bit evil, he was truly kind and caring in the inside.

"Alright, I'll stop thinking it for now. By the way what do you want for breakfast tomorrow?" Adam asked while smiling.

"Hmm. Let me see..... Bacon! I want bacon for tomorrow!" Replied Perseus smilingly towards Adam.

"It's bacon then!" After that the two of them went inside to the house and rest for the night.

The sun rose up from the horizon as the vast land was lit up, normal birds began to tweet as they aflapped their wings and flew.

'Yawnn~" Perseus woke up from the sun light that passed through the window he then went to the bathroom and tidy himself up for the day.

"Oii are you fucktards still asleep!?" Just after Perseus left the bathroom he heard a shout from outside their house, he then took a peak from the window. He was stupefied, his eyes went wide, the drowsiness from sleep earlier were now gone as he saw a bunch of people, and beasts surrounding their house.

"The hell is all this?!" He whispered. He didn't know what's with this people but they didn't seemed to come with good intentions. He was sure that all the 'evil-groups' that they'd exterminated had no connection to other groups so this must be a 'Family'.

It's another group but much larger in comaprison, their people exceeds 100 and are powerful, they also tamed many beasts. A 'Family' type group are only few in this city but all of their leaders was strong enough to make a building collapse with just a single kick.

The crowd outside were up to 100-150 people and they all had a weapon, customize weapon to be exact, all of their weapons suits their fighting style and not only that the one in the middle, Victor Oxen, who was leading the crowd, had a strong rithium aura enveloping him. Perseus didn't know what group he had attacked that had a connection to a 'Family' as he knew that all the groups they had exterminated were groups thats doesn't have any connections.

Perseus sensed the aura around him thats why he didn't dash outside recklessly, he knew that this person is not some of those ordinary guys that can be killed in one blow.

His door opened and he saw Adam who looked very neevous due to this many people, he looked at Perseus anxiously and asked, "what are we gonna do? Minna is still out hunting some beast, she hasn't come back till yesterday night." Said Adam while looking from afar through the window.

Minna not going home for a day and half was normal as she do this to hunt and get stronger sometimes she comes back after week. But without her now was a little bit troublesome as Perseus needs assistance.

Although Adam is very strong but with this many enemy it will take a long time and as time goes by they might exhaust themselves and may not continue any further.

"If you don't come outside within the count of 5 ill flatten your house and bury you underneath it!!" Shouted Victor with a evil looking smile that hung on his face as he began the countdown.

"1" Victor then walked towards the house, suddenly they heard a squeak as the front door of the house opened. Perseus walked towards victor on his back was Adam who was following closely.

He confronts Victor face to face as he stared coldly at him. Victor was still smiling arrogantly as he saw his opponent was just a kid.

"Boss, he may be a kid but be careful his quite strong!" Perseus heard a familiar voice and looked at the back of victor. There he saw Jay who was standing among the crowds who was smiling with greedy eyes

'so it's his the one responsible for all of this, no wonder.' Perseus thought as his heart went cold and glared at jay. He didn't expect that the one he saved would do this to him. 'i guess i dont have a good eye for people.' thought Perseus as he then released his immense killing intent which turned some of the people ghastly pale as cold sweat covered their backs, especially Jay.

Victor felt the killing intent from Perseus his smile then began bigger and his whole body shook, he didn't know if this was excitement or neevousness he looked at Perseus who looked like a mountain thwt cant be moved.

Perseus looked at the crowd and shouted coldly, "None of you will leave this forest alive!"
