Tristan spent his next few days before he shipped out for the mandatory military training doing what he was always doing...training, he knew he needed to get better in his full wolf form so he spent his time in his room transforming fully walking around practicing jumping walking and so forth in the little space he had that was private so no one would see him, he also worked on transitioning from partial wolf form to full and back and practicing both punches and swipes between them and trying to get used to using his mouth fangs and jaw as a weapon, which required some practice and coordination. By the time he was supposed to arrive to check in to ship out he had gotten proficient enough in all his forms that he wouldn't get embarrassed at least. He still had a long way to go in the full wolf mode, but he could proficiently run and use his agility to run away if needed. He also discovered that the full wolf mode could utilize his speed far better and if he did need to run away that would be the mode, he would make use of.
He arrived at his checkpoint to check in and immediately a rough looking man with a large belly checked him in and informed him which portal and base he should head to. He was being sent to base number 7, as a current civilian he had no clue about the bases, the government kept the training for the youngest generation very close to the chest to keep spies and such from ruining the future of the human race.
There was a line to the portal and Tristan had the time to see a portion of his future classmates, although it was called military training it was more like a college or finishing school that focused on battle and abilities. Before his gaining of the Evo system as he decided to call it, he was excited to get an ability from the military even if it would mean he would have to sign a contract binding him to them for a certain number of years, he was far more pleased with the outcome that he had ended up getting. Being free to do what he wanted after training would be a far easier life, or at least more enjoyable being that he could pick what he wanted to do. As the line started to move through the portal Tristan took the time to scan some of his classmates, as he did, he noticed that the scan didn't tell him most of their abilities, or their stats. To his surprise it only seemed to tell him the most prominent stat of the people he scanned, one girl had 30 agility and another boy had almost 40 strength, he wondered if they were well balanced like him and he was really weak still or if they were very specialized and he would stand a good chance against them. "Not that it really maters, if my thoughts are correct I will be improving at a significantly higher rate than them." Tristan smugly thought to himself. Tristan had never been in any spot of power or really had any bright hopes for the future, he had always figured best case scenario he would end up being a run of the mill soldier, now he felt like he had opportunities to really control his future.
It was finally his turn to move through the portal, right as he was about to go through he decided he should scan the portal, he tried and immediately received a blinding headache.

"Well, that was a terrible idea, guess this stuff has limitations and actual drawbacks if I try to do too much it wont end well for me, good thing I didn't try something like this in a fight."
He quickly shook off the pain from the headache and moved through the portal. Before he even realized it he was already on the other side walking towards where the other students would be staying.
"ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS" a short and slim man yelled through a megaphone "YOU WILL ALL BE TESTED AND RANDOMLY PLACED IN CLASSES, ONCE TESTED ALL STUDENTS WILL BE ASSIGNED A CLASS AND THE REST WILL BE EXPLAINED THERE" once he was done with the megaphone several doors lit up indicating where the students should go to test. Tristan figured there was about 300 students there including himself and everybody headed towards their closest door splitting them into groups of about 20. Tristan found himself in the middle of the line once they all entered the door and what appeared to be a teacher/instructor was waiting in what looked like a gymnasium to test them all.
"I am instructor green, and I will be monitoring your tests and evaluating your power levels, will the first person step forward to begin the testing." The person in the front of the line was a petite girl that shyly stepped forward "Hurry up we don't have all day show me your ID so we can begin the test" the girl hurriedly fumbled for her ID and then handed it to instructor green. "What is your ability?" Green asked. The girl immediately blushed and whispered "I...I don't have one" Instructor Green who was a rather intimidating looking woman sighed, "if you don't have an ability go to this room and they will pick one out for you" she handed the shy looking girl a little holographic map. "If anyone else doesn't have an ability step forward and go with her"
Of the 20 students there 11 of them including the girl ended up leaving to get evaluated for an ability the government owned the rights to. "Alright now that we got that out of the way we can begin the test with the rest of you" Instructor green said. Tristan was still currently positioned in about the middle of the remaining 9 students, he had 3 ahead of him so he had some time to view the tests, which he was glad about. He always liked to have time to prepare even if it was only a couple of minutes. The boy directly behind him that was well built and just shorter than Tristan with jet black hair nudged him and said "Man this is exciting, I can't wait to see my stats and evaluation, what about you? By the way my name is Crimson, but my friends call me Crim" Tristan shrugged his shoulders and said "well I guess yeah I am a little excited for this as well, my name is Tristan" he didn't mean to be short with Crim but he really had lacking social skills due to being a weakling for most of his life. They both quickly turned as the real testing was about to begin.
