My eyes flutter open, blinking repeatedly, trying to adjust to the sudden impact of light. Arms heavy, legs heavy heck my whole body was heavy it felt like my muscles were limp noodles and as nice as the thought of hot steamy noodles are it did not feel pleasant at all
As things started to take shape in my vision I notice something off; everything was huge, the roof looked way too high, that guy looked like a fucking giant and finally I should dead.
Yep dead and I do not feel dead whatever it feels like I doubt it feels like this. It was then my pea sized brain solved the puzzle: I was a baby. The previously mentioned giant making googoo noises in my face consolidated my hypothesis of being a fat wad of moving flesh.
'Aiya, so this is it reincarnation the wet dream of most weebs and otakus I fucking did it whatever I did, heh the guys would die to get in my position.'
Its ironic how I became what I hated most an isekai 'protagonist' even worse the culprit of my death was none other than truck kun!
*Narrator*
And so the years rolled by as the fatwad of flesh grew up to be a young healthy toddler. Learning more about the strange predicament he found himself in later on he realised he couldn't give more than two shits with how or why he received another life, all he new was to not fuck once again and die young.
What he did find out was that he was living a very fucking far from the age he was in before his untimely death specifically during the ancient Greeks. The difference in language stuck out like a sore thumb, it was an inconvenience though he did eventually get the hang of it.
*1st POV*
The sky was blue, the grass was green and-
"I'm bored!" I complained for the hundredth time today. Although I'm glad I'm not dead as a kid from the 20th century technology dominated my life along with anime and manga alot of anime and manga. 7 years of no anime made day to day life feel like hell.
The only positive was no school! And no pressure from my Asian parents to get A's. Fuck now I'm sad although I complain I still miss my family, sometimes I would loose hours of sleep thinking about my previous life but you get what you get and you don't get upset.
"Iason go to the farm and help your father if you are so bored." My mother suggested, I'm surprised she's not irritated by my constant complaints about boredom. I should probably explain what she looks like shouldn't I? To keep it simple she had silky black hair, vibrant brown eyes and olive brown skin tone, she was average in appearance. I looked pretty similar in appearance same black hair, brown skin colour but instead of vibrant brown my eyes were almost pitch black.
Going to the farm would ease my boredom and possibly numb my feelings of painful nostalgia. Why didn't I think of that? Nodding my head to myself I rush off to the farm.
"See you later mum!" I waved to her as I sprinted away.
"Be back before the sun sets! And he's already gone." My mother yelled back but by then I was gone.
The Farm wasn't that far away only 2km so I could get there in around 5 mins. 2km in 5min by a 7 year old sounds kinda unbelievable doesn't it well it seems people have some ridiculously strong physiques in greece. How I don't know; if it ain't broke don't question it.
When I got there I was only slightly fatigued nowhere near tired. I was loving this new body in my past life I was quite the physical person, always running around and exercising. I especially loved the burn after an intense workout, the sore musles the day after not so much.
I could see the little shack which held the tools and equipment in the distance along with my father tending to livestock which consisted of goats, pig and sheep. Off to the right was the cabbage field and to the left was the forbidden forrest. Jk, it doesn't have a name. It was a quaint farm.
My father was an ordinary farmer with brown poofy hair unlike mine and mothers which were smooth and straight, his skin was tanned from working under the sun.
"Dad! I'm here to help!" I yelled while waving my arms trying to grab his attention and it did.
"Iason you finally decided to come help your father." He chuckled.
"What do you mean I'm always here to help." I cheekily replied.
"Well it looks like you came at the right time Dolly's taking a stroll into the forest again." Dolly was a strange goat that loved to wander into the forest for reasons unknown to me.
Having been through this numerous amounts of time I replied with a quick on it heading off to get that wanderer of a goat.
The forest floor was littered with leaves of all kinds, shadows forming intricate shapes casted by the towering trees above. I could see why Dolly loves the forest so much compared to the simple fields the rest of her heard enjoy so much.
Unlike most normal forest this one was eerily quiet and no matter how many times I come in here it freaks me out. Step by step I went in deeper focusing intently where that blasted goat could be.
I felt a tap on my shoulder I froze. Slowly turning my neck to face behind me.
"Boo!"
"Holy shit!" I wasn't scared I was simply surprised. Placing a hand over my drumming heart I glared at the culprit of my surprise a girl with green tinted skin and silver hair giving her a exotic look. "Oh hey Clover."
"Haha~ I got you again." She laughed at my expense.
"I swear one day you will give me a heart attack." Sighing at her childishness. "For a 300 year old you are quite childish."
"For a 7 year old you talk quite sophisticated." She quipped back, I merely shrugged at that.
"Hmm looking for Dolly once again?" She asked with a knowing look.
"Yep." I said popping the P. "You seen her around?"
"She went that-a-way, follow me." Pointing to a seemingly random direction she marched on.
Leading us to a small clearing where the light could piece through the forest canopy. A mind boggling large tree sat in the middle with a white goat munching one the grass besides it.
"Of course she would be at the heart." This place was Clover's most important and special place her literal heart. If you haven't guessed already Clover is the dryad of this forest who I met during one of my Dolly hunts when I was 5.
Meeting the first supernatural creature in both of my lives freaked me out not gonna lie. Learning that the myths and superstition I heard about was real? Not something you wanna know when your family are simple farmers. Well after her abrupt intro to my new life I asked for all she knew about the supernatural world since knowledge is power.
What I learnt did not reassure my fears, it blasted them off to crimson moon. The Greek Gods are real, monsters are real, wizards are real wait no they're called magus here still not too sure why they have different names, life has increased in difficulty by a 1 million added to the fact I'm in Ancient Greece.
Still nothing I can do but survive. What a fun life I'm gonna have can you hear my joy? I'm getting off topic I was here for Dolly.
"Thanks for always helping Clover."
"Happy to help Iason come back soon okay?"
"I will, come on Dolly it's time to go." And with that Dolly and I went back to the farm, her going to graze and me weeding the crops.
I spent the rest of the day on the farm helping out my father doing usually farming tings until the sun started setting which was when we went back home.
Staring at the ceiling as I laid on my bed I thought about the future. 'I should be old enough to start some serious training now for two reasons: monsters and I like to stay fit. I'm probably going to take over our family farm and hopefully live a peaceful life? Not too sure yet.'
With that last thought I drifted off to sleep.
