Aether

Looking at the endless darkness Kai stood at the edge of a cliff, the sound of wind whistled in his ears and brushed against his face.

The dark and depress feeling made Kai breathing more difficult then usual. He turned around and saw a huge rock, in between the rocks he saw a glowing red stone which seemed to be trapped.

'Aether!' Kai's mouth curved upward as he looked at the stone he was looking for.

It was said that the world was once covered in darkness and was ruled by dark elves, Later then the Asgard launched an counterattack which annihilated the dark elves returning the light back to the world and Aether, The weapon of the dark elf leader Malekith.

The reality stone, one of the infinity stones has the power to cover and return the world back to darkness. It was unimaginable how this small stone is so powerful. Although the dark elves were annihilated and expelled, Aethers energy was to strong to be destroyed. It was then buried deep in the depths of warthheim, the dark country which Kai was at right now.

Aethers energy is really powerful, It will attach and absorb the energy of the user.

Kai is not sure his body could bear such a drawback. Although Extremist was resilient, it may not be able to supply Aether. However, he has the system. With the system he can store Aether inside it's space and slowly devour it's energy avoiding any harm.

But these stones are have a lot of pursuers. Dark elves, Asgard, Thanos, one came after another seemingly stronger every time. Especially dark elf leader Malekith who can sense Aether and once he senses Aether, he'll wake up from his sleep and chase it down.

Kai's plan is to get Aether and immediately store it in the system space, He believes that Malekith won't be able to sense it unless he flaunt it around. He shouldn't use it unless he's confined in going against his strong contesters.

Looking at Aether, Karl stretched his arms and grabbed it.

In an instant Aether was wrapped around by Kai's hand. A huge amount of energy was going into the stone, He felt like his energy was rapidly being absorb.

"Shit!" Kai thought Aether was strong but he didn't think it would be this strong.

In an instant Kai felt likewise body was rid from energy. He dint have time to tell the system to put Aether into its space and immediately pass out.

When he was unconscious Extremis was constantly restoring his energy but Aether would absorb it the moment it appears. Layers and Layers of dark came out of the stone and covered his whole body making him float in the air. When he opened his eyes it was pitch black...there was no telling how long until Kai regain his consciousness.

"Sigh* it's really an infinity stone. It's too strong and not many people could handle. It's know wonder Thanos used the infinity gauntlet even though he was already super strong" Kai began to check his body.

Aether has been interpreted into his body and there was no way to remove it.

Right now, he felt slightly weak but Extremis seems to have become stronger then before. As long as he does not activate Aethers energy then there won't be any danger for the time being.

"Sysetm could you put it in your space?" Kai asked.

[Yes, but it will take time]

"Good"

Kai release Aether and the Dark Elf leader Malekith has probably already sensed it. He's afraid Malekith has awoken from his sleep then he'll lead the dark elves to snatch Ather and let the world be engulf in darkness again.

While the system was preparing to bring Aether into the space Kai was surprise to feel a force coming from above and then a dazzling light appears. Kai couldn't help but frown seeing this.

He knows what this is.

This was the Asgard Transmission.

The light dissipated and from the spot was a man wearing exquisite armor, red cloak, an blonde hair. He was also holding a hammer.

Thor, The God Of Thunder!!

"System wait! I have another plan!"

Kai yelled looking at Thor

Malekith is bound to Aether but it takes time to completely devour Aether. Since the god of thunder has come Kai made a plan to visit Asgard as its is such a rare opportunity. It is a pity he won't be able to take Aether and benefit from it but there will be another chance once he is stronger. At that time he can devour Aether.
