Giving Jemma a gift

"Did you know I set up my own team?" Kai asked ignoring his question.

Phil nodded "War Legion, It use the West Coast Island as their base. Is this your uniform? It looks cool"

Phil notice a unique ring on his finger, Before he could asked Kai said "Somethings are unavoidable even if you see it coming. I can only say that your always welcome to my team after the event"

Phil frowned "It seems this matter is bigger then I expect"

Kai smile and shook his head "You will know when it happens, If there's nothing else I'll take my leave"

Phil wanted an explanation but knew Kai wouldn't spill anything.

Although Kai is a part of the team...It's more like a partnership.

Kai went to Quake from the office first and talked to her for a while. Quake missed him very much and he was no different.

After accompanying Quake for a while he went to the lab downstairs.

Jemma and Fitz were present.

Seeing Kai combing they both stoped what they're doing and greeted.

"So what did you want to give me?" Jemma directly asked,

"Take a guess" Kai smiled and said.

Jemma thought for a moment "Are you going to give me your blood?"

"If you really want it remember our agreement" Kai said with a smile, Jemma's face redden a little and she mutter "Then what is it?"

"Kai smiled and took out a bottle out of the system's space.

Jemma looked at the pale blue liquid inside the bottle and asked din confusion "What is this?"

"This is called Gene Potion, it's similar to the Centipede serum but less powerful and more stable" Kai explained.

"Really?" Jemma wasn't surprised, Though this potion was not as good as the Centipede serum It is also important that it's more stable.

Stuff like the super solider and centipede serum are very difficult to stabilize.

"Of course, What I know so far is that it can probably produce one of the several abilities. Tracking, Sound waves, Mind control, Telekinesis, or even future prediction. You can take it for yourself or use it for research, I have a stronger potion but it's not very stable" Jemma is a capable biologist, The equipment here is very good so he hopes she can study this normal Gene Potion first.

The side effects of Gene Potion Kai has yet to know, in the movie it only said Kira safely stole it and others who have superpowers will be poison if taken. Of course this doesn't apply to Kai, He hopes they can discover and remove the hidden danger so it could be used later.

"Okay, I'll study it as soon as possible!" Jemma nodded and soon took the Gene Potion to a equipment to start first.

Kai smirked and shook his head then left.

Back in his room Kai sat crossed legged and began absorbing Aether.

With the ring to restrain Aether, absorbing its energy is far faster and reduce the drawbacks.

Although there's no use for Aether's energy for time being, as long as he completely absorb it and make Aether a part of his body, he'll be able to confidently absorb the other stones since they won't attack each other. Plus, with his ability he can fully integrate the stones.

This was much more powerful then Thanos who borrow its power with the gauntlet.

[The energy need for a upgrade has been reached, Beginning Upgrade....]

System upgrade? He completed 3 Quest and devour 3 ability's and also absorb Aether's energy. It makes sense the system upgrade was not that far.

Although he only Absorb a little of Aether's energy, it should be a quite lot for the system.

As for how long the upgrade will take? Kai didn't bother and continue absorbing Aether.

Time passes by and Kai hear Mays voice as the plane was ready to land.
