"The temperature seems to be higher then usual"

Kai felt the change in temperature on his arms, not only did the temperature rise quickly but also reached the temperature of supernova in almost a moment. The temperature itself was higher then the time he felt with Malekith.

Kai nodded with satisfaction and looked at his surrounding.

Surrounded by dark sky although there was a tornado not far away Magmeto will surely know Riptide was killed and will naturally take action.

Swoosh!!!~

With loud sound Kai disappeared from the night sky.

Back at West Coast Island Base, Kai entered the spaceship and returned to his room.

Afetr taking a shower, Kai laid down and began absorbing Aether which has become a daily routine for him.

His body can devour Aether without side effects but he still has a limit. For example, Kai"s body is the tank and the water is Aether's energy and he can't fell the tank more then it can handle. So now, regardless of quality and this was the only restriction.

However, continuously devouring Aether Kai could feel his capacity increasing and believes with enough time he can devour powerful energy without any limit.

So now, Kai's not only absorbing Aether's energy but also increasing his capacity.

Two hours later, Kai felt a little full and stoped to rest.

While sleeping Kai seemed to hear some noises and slowly opened his eyes, he caught a glimpse of shadow with perfect curves and Kai suddenly felt energetic.

Originally, Kai was always energetic in the morning but seeing such a scene Kai felt more energetic then usual.

Blink turned around and saw Kai staring at her. The corner of her eyes fell on the blanket somewhere which seemed to stood up and her face slightly blush but her mouth subconsciously opened.

'You thought I didn't notice?' Blink Smugly thought then said with a smile "Boss, wake up, breakfast is ready for you!"

"Suddenly I feel so happy this morning, not only do I see food but also a beauty" Kai smiled and sat up.

Blink giggled "Boss, among the woman around you, I'm the least beautiful"

"Who said you weren't beautiful? You know I'm Chinese. Although these foreign woman are attractive but the Oriental style is more in line with my Aesthetic" Kai smiled and said.

Blink grinned and said "I'll leave first"

"Go ahead, I'll leave later"

After Blink left, Kai finished breakfast and got ready before leaving the room.

Pepper wore a helmet and supervised the work in the construction site. Kai said hello and chatted for a while asking her not to get used to it before helping moving stuff.

After a hard day, Kai prepared to take a break but his phone suddenly ranged.

Kai looked at the caller ID and was a little surprise to see Quake.

"Hello babe, did you miss me?" Kai connected the call and asked with a smile.

[Of course, can you come back?] Quake asked

"Right now? If your not in a hurry how bout later? I'm at the base waiting for nighttime to stop working then I'll go back, how about we find a place to eat something?" Kai softly said.

"I'm afraid I can't, We're on a mission right not and is a little tricky. Phill asked me to request you help" Quake helplessly explained.

"It turned out to be a mission? I thought you'd miss me" Kai pretended to be sad.

Quake hurriedly explained "Of course I really miss you but I know your really busy so I didn't want to bother you!"

"Hehe, I'm just joking with you. I'll see you later then" Kai chuckled and hung up the phone. He informed Blink about Ophir leave and flew away.

On the way to the plane, Kai could see Quake waiting outside. Kai smiled and landed, Quake quickly rushed to his embrace and shared a kiss before heading to the meeting room.

In the meeting room, Phil, May, Fitz, Jemma, and the other people were present and there was also another person.

Michael!

Michael was the person Kai and Quake met for their first mission, he was infused with the centipede serum and was very unstable. He attacked Quake and Kai knocked his ass out before sending him to SHEILD.

Michael is also a famous and surnamed character.

Half-man half mechanical death warrior. (I think?)

Of course, he's not a death warrior right now and is just a novice super solider who has stabilize the centipede virus and targeted Captain America.

"Remember me?" Kai first nodded to everyone and looked at Michael.

Michael smiled and nodded "Of course, if you didn't knock me out I might have gone out of control. You saved my life and also, I'm sorry about attacking your girlfriend"

"Don't worry, you should be glad you didn't" Kai said with a smile.

If Michael really hurt Quake at that time, then Kai Luke have definitely killed him even if he will become a death warrior in the future.

"Well, let me say the mission, this situation is not so optimistic" Phil clapped his hands and Dre the attention of everyone.

Before Kai came in the rest of the people knows the detailed goal of the mission. They even called Michael over to let him participate. The only one who's unclear of this matter is Kai, of course….That's what they think.

In fact, Kai doesn't know some of the detail of the mission but he does know more then Phil.
