Kai spoke in English and Hiro responded after a long time and seriously said "Yes I am Japanese!"

Hearing him shout Kai was really afraid people would think he was with him.

Hiro didn't understand what he said. After catching up he looked at Kai with a weird look and Kai sped up.

Hiro was shocked and surprise to see Kai's uncomfortable expression. He closed his mouth and gestured his hand like zipping indicating his mouth is closed.

Kai shook his head helplessly and continue to walk fast.

After getting out the crowd they came to a remote alley. Kai stoped and Hiro found that Kai was followed by a Black man,

"Can I speak now?" Hiro hesitate and asked.

Kai nodded.

Hiro relaxed and hurriedly said "Who are you, how do you know my name? Do you know I have superpowers? I cam from Japan, I was at the subway before then I screamed and came to New York, I…"

His English was limited so I could be somewhat hard to understand.

"I know who you are and also know you have superpowers. I came here to find you!" After he finished speaking Kai started taking.

"Looking for me? Why?" Hiro asked with some doubts.

"Because I want your ability!" Kai said and grabbed Hiro's shoulder then immediately began to devour.

"What!? No, this is my ability you can't take it away!" Hiro was shocked and wanted to break free, Damn how is this guy so strong?

He hurriedly closed his eyes and wanted to escape.

The ability failed, Hiro tried again but it was unsuccessful.

Kai ignored his struggles, Rene was nearby so naturally Hiro's ability would be suppressed. Not to mention he just awaken his ability and is not proficient so Kai was not worried he would escape. Just like Kai thought his ability was difficult to devour.

Time and space ability is very powerful and much stronger then Claire's healing ability.

"Just, if I devour to much then my body can't handle it and I'll get out of control!" Kai said with concern.
