Synthesizing
After coming back to the camping site August quickly looked over all the research papers. He picked the synthesization of A rank artifacts. This was a good place to start, as higher level synthesization will have a higher failure rate. He wanted to test from the lower ranks. Then advance to higher ranks as he gained more insight in the refining process. Artifacts of B rank or lower were significantly less powerful than A rank ones, because they lacked beast core, so August didn't focus on them. They could be synthesized by dissolving the beast body parts and merging the essence with the required fields. But merging a core with other fields was harder because of the power inside the core resisted outside forces. So the higher the rank, the harder it was to merge with different fields.
" I will be busy for a while, so you two take the day off. We will go to the next red zone tomorrow."
Fatty was really happy and relieved to hear that he got the day off.
" Finally, I can get more time to ea.."
Fatty looked at August carefully. August was busy in his mind so he didn't mind what they were doing.
Daisy didn't talk too much and went to her tent.
' System, start the simulation for the A rank artifact with water property.' August started working on the artifact making process.

' Shit... It's more complicated than I thought. Thank god I have the system to summarize the process for me, otherwise, I would be doing experiments all year.'
August rubbed his forehead thinking about the enormous task.
' I can only imagine how hard it would have been for the fellow researchers to develop this process.'
August sighed and teleported to a quiet place near the campsite.
' Build a small lab for me, and make it underground. I gotta go have dinner. I will come back after I get to my room.'
August teleported himself back to his house.

When the next morning came, tremors could be felt in the area surrounding the campsite. Fatty and Daisy woke up after they felt them, thinking that a horde of beasts was marching towards them. But there was nothing amiss on the outside.
*AHEM*
August came to the campsite with a little messy hair.
" So you two ready ?"
" Uh.. we just woke up."
" Good, let's start our next hunt then,"
They teleported with their camp equipment to a desert area.
The underground ruins of Kralar. This was the second red zone they were scheduled to go after the Ashpheran mountains. This underground ruin was from an old civilization that was buried by sand after the fertile land became a desert. This place was the breeding place for desert snakes, spiders, centipedes, and scorpions. After being awakened they took control over the region and increased their numbers. The sheer number of spiders here was really scary, on top of that the viper hybrids of B rank and the gargantuan centipedes of A rank made this a tough spot for hunting. The reason this place was turned into a red zone was not because of these beasts but the S and SS rank scorpion hybrids and mother tarantulas. They were the reason this place was declared a no hunting zone by the DoA.
" God, this is how despair feels like, I didn't even eat my breakfast." Fatty's stomach was growling.
" Alright don't cry, I will give you an hour to finish everything, and then we will start."
August started searching for a place to locate his lab. He selected a place inside the underground ruins where there were stone structures all around.
" Ah.. this place will be good." He looked at the various lower rank beasts that were looking at him like he was a snack.
' Time to clean the lab.'
He used his gamma flame to burn all the beasts in the area. This was a big space with walls all around. He closed all the gaps using his force and connected all sides.
' Now it's ready. I will be doing experiments here for a week.'
' Set up the lab for me. Meanwhile, let me look at the points my sister made.'

While the system was setting up the lab, he looked at the System Control. He kept the daily reward for her at 5 points, so she couldn't get more to start unlocking the shop, to find nothing.

' Oh, she finished today's quests. I need to quickly fill the shop, then give fatty and that kid quests. The way they are hunting they can unlock the shop early. I will keep the price a little high for them, but not too high.' August was planning on how to implement the shop function to give them artifacts.
' Hopefully, my skill rank goes up, so I can control more systems.'
With that in mind, August started doing the experiment. He took out his stack of A rank cores that he collected yesterday. He took one core and placed it on the table. The table was made of tungsten and coated with tantalum carbide. There was a small hole in the middle of the table to place the beast core.
After putting the beast core in the middle he activated his quantum field.
' Start to concentrate the gallad field near the beast core.'
[ Initiating Shift..]
[ Moving the gallad field to the provided location ..]
August felt his force field start twisting the surrounding fields to squeeze out the gallad field. He focused his mind on the beast core and the gallad field started concentrating on the surface of the beast core. He applied more force to the gallad field and after some time the beast core completely absorbed the field.
After the beast core fused with the gallad field, it glowed more and started pulsating.
' Now shift the Wesnot field'
*Bzzzt*
There was an electric discharge when the wesnot field was being shifted to the beast core surface. The process required to wrap the field all over the beast core.

After waiting for some time the process stabilized, the beast core was not pulsating anymore. The wesnot field was applied all over the beast core and now only the final step remained.
' Merge the charm-strange quark field'
* GRRRRNN*
There was a grinding and crackling sound reverberated all over the room.
