This isn't fair, your grace!

Zathar plopped on the sofa in the middle of Ilyana's bedroom. He sighed, his lips curving upside down, secretly stomping the ground in his head.

"My wife is really one of a kind, despite having a man of my caliber in front of you, one that you can freely devour to your hearts content.." Zathar grabbed the pile of papers in the coffee table along with the quill, and he then started writing with tears falling from his beautiful face.

"But you'd rather work? This is unbelievable!" He looked at the paperworks in front of him like it's his archnemesis, as if it robbed him of something so precious not even an ancient treasure could replace it.

Zathar bit his lower lip and at that moment, he wanted to do nothing but loudly appeal his complaints 'This isn't fair, your grace!'

Ilyana chuckled, taking a sip from the tea prepared by the maid as she took her sit at the sofa in front of her concubine, crossing her legs, and staring at him intently.

"Seeing you in a robe working extremely hard is definitely the biggest turn on, sweetheart." Ilyana smiled sweetly, melting her concubines heart.

She danced happily in her head. 'Ah, i'm so happy, i might actually fail to stop my tears. This feeling is akin to seeing a gold bar in the mine you invested in'

"Giving me that smile is unfair, your grace." Zathar slowly walked towards Ilyana, kneeling in front of her and laying his head on her lap.

"That's totally cheating" He grumbled under his breath, feeling comfortable under her touch.

Ilyana ran her hands through his hair, gently combing it with her fingers. "Zathar sweetheart, I need you to find something for me."

Zathar looked up and smiled widely, his pearly white teeth clearly visible, the dimples in his right cheek blooming vibrantly.

"What is it wife? I'll find anything for you." Zathar had longed promised himself that he would he's willing to cross over a thousand rivers and climb unreachable mountains for his wife.

"A book."

"A book? That should be quite easy. What do you need it for?" He beamed brightly, looking for a single book is as easy as breathing air compared to killing his other brothers just so that he'd be his wife's only option for her harem.

Ilyana cupped his cheeks in her hands, gently using her thumb to press his dimples down. "Mhm, that's a secret."

"Alright. I won't pry further. What's the name of the book?" Zathar looked up to his wife, eagerly waiting for her answer.

"You see, It doesn't have one."

"Pardon?"

"It doesn't have one." He was dumbfounded, how is he supposed to look for a nameless book?

"And how does it look like?"

"I have no idea."

"Uhm. Wife, how am I supposed to find that?" His brows slightly furrowed, looking at her wife like she's a strange creature that suddenly appeared in front of him.

"You'll know once you see it. It's a peculiar book with blank pages but exudes a strange energy." It was obvious that he didn't quite get what Ilyana meant, nonetheless he nodded without questioning his wife any further.

'At least that's how it was describe in the novel. Zathar never found the book in all my past lifetimes but it might be worth trying again. It's alright my beloved ikemen, i believe in your extraordinary character luck!' Ilyana thought, after all, the important characters have insane plot armors and luck.

"Uhm, wife." Ilyana looked at him and slightly tilted her head to the right.

"Yes, sweetheart?"

"I promise to do all of these first thing tomorrow, so can you please spoil me now." He whimpered, like a dog asking for attention from its owner.

'Ah, I knew it. Dog type ikemens are the best!'

She slowly guided him to stand up and sit on her lap, her right hand gently yet securely wrapped around his waists, as she utilized her left hand to roughly grab his nape and pull him in for a passionate kiss.

"My good boy, you did great taking that old man down. He was wrecking havoc in my territory, how dare he? His bald head suits hims, it seems that not only is he lacking hair, but also brain cells and gratitude. Forget about him, this wife of yours will definitely spoil you to your hearts content. I'm all yours tonight, sweetheart." The tip of Zathar's ears along with his nape reddened. Shivers ran through his entire body as he felt an intense burst of electrocution- one would refer to as excitement.

Ilyana lightly laughed in her head as she thought 'How adorable. If he had a tail, I bet it'd be wagging wildly by now.'

"Really, am i good boy?" She lifted him in her arms and gently lay him in the huge bed, the silk sheets slowly crumpled as his curly hair spread beautifully in it.

"Mhm." She nodded, looking at him like she's eagerly waiting to devour a ten course meal at a five star restaurant.

Ilyana stared directly into his soul as she slowly closed the distance among them.

'Well then, thanks for the meal.'
