Three sages

'Sush! Allow me to finish , Have you heard the tale of the ten heroes who stopped the world catastrophe?',the fairy asked.

Jacob shook his head and James nodded his head with a slight confusion in his face.

The fairy saw the confusion in his face ,and said with a sigh,' You humans must have a different version of tale, probably the tale of seven heroes ,right?'.

James nodded his head.

'Does that mean that there is a original unadulterated version of the story? ,and how will this explain my question?',thought Jacob.

Immediately someone responded within him,

'Wait patiently kid, it will be interesting'.

'Does he have to know this? It's too early it won't be fun. But it will be thrilling'

'Guys,don't invade my space wait for your turns'

Three voices talked one after another

But it was clear that these voices wasn't that of the time sage alone, as each voice had a different tone.

'Who are you guys?'

'I am the time sage.'

'Well,who were the other's ,they sounded different than you!'

'They are the other sages, space sage ,and the matter sage, they butted in without my permission ,they won't bother you for sometime.

You must have grow up more to have a proper conversation with them, it will be hard for you to accommodate all of us into your head'

The conversation which took place in his head was very fast and within ten seconds it was over.

'Okay, I understand',said Jacob in his head finishing the conversation ,and pushing aside all these curious thoughts aside,so that he can listen to the fairy who had started to talk.

'The events which led to this egg's existence are very strange for even I don't know most of it.

The first hero of beasts received this egg from a phoenix travelling on its own path after the loss of it's master and understood it's uniqueness, it was a egg having two Phoenixes inside it.

They were identified as twins.

So he pledged to the find the mother of the egg or the one who would be their master.

But he couldn't do it, so with the help of trusty beings ,a pact was made between hero of beasts to pass it until the conditions of the pledge were completed.

The last hero once visited an old friend ,an old seer of the fairy kind to know about a prophecy, but instead he got a prophecy regarding the future master of the egg.

So he gave it to the old seer to safeguard it till it takes place, and here I am giving this egg to you two.'

'So we were the ones in your prophecy, then why did you want to enslave us?',asked Jacob in a slightly angry tone.

'That I cannot answer now, when the time comes I'll reveal it to you two , along with the prophecy', the fairy said with a crooked smile, and a haughty look on it's face to mean it was for selfish reasons.

The fairy paused a little before continuing again.

'It's getting late , I have replenished my mana, let's go to your kingdom, if the egg hatches here I don't we can provide the young chicks with sufficient care'.

It was almost evening ,and the boys knew they cannot provide any care for the young ones in the middle of a desert.

So James ,and Jacob agreed.

They packed everything ,and rode the sand rider.

The fairy flew slowly with them for sometime ,then it got frustrated cause it felt they were moving slow.

So it decided to take matters into its own hand ,and suddenly the fairy got enveloped in blue light, and the aura of the light grew darker ,and darker.

The winds started heeding the fairy,

'Just hold on tight kids, we are going at full speed',

The fairy's actions shocked the kids ,but they kept quiet ,and allowed the fairy to take them faster ,as they too felt bored of the slow travel.

The sand rider started making funny noises when it felt it was floating on air without any support.

The kids held on tight to the beast, and the fairy sat in front of them on the sand rider.

*Swoosh* The kids along with fairy flew in the direction of the kingdom on the sand rider.

Within 30 minutes they had reached their destination, the outskirts of the Malodor kingdom.

They didn't want to cause any trouble by bringing a flying dune rider into their kingdom, so they landed outside.

*Gwak* Jacob vomited immediately once he stepped of the dune rider.

The dune rider was also not in a very good condition ,as it could still feel all its insides twirling.

Whereas James was feeling super excited as it was his first flying experience .

Like a crazy kid who enjoys crazy roller coaster riders, James asked whether they could go on a ride again.

Hearing this Jacob vomited again.

'Looks like your younger brother has got a weak stomach' , said the fairy with a smile looking at Jacob's condition.

They soon got themselves ready ,and walked slowly towards the gate.

'First prince ,and second prince ,Welcome back, The king is worried about you two',said a gate guard as they entered into their kingdom.

The guards were on high alert around the fairy, as they had never met one.

'He is with us , don't worry he is our esteemed guest', said James to calm the guards down.

After every entry procedures were over, Jacob slowly moved towards the central guard who looked over every other guards.

He was a big man and was skilled in combat ,and Jacob had heard from the king that he was a trustworthy guard.

'Don't let anyone in ,and don't let anyone out, pass this messages to all the gates ,and make sure there are trustworthy people there', whispered Jacob into the Central guards ears.

Even though this command was already given by the king, as the second Prince gave it again he knew that he had to make sure that the commands are being implemented.

So he passed a message again to all posts ,and even made plans to personally visit them.

Jacob had asked a trusted minister to find a good spot which was near the fields.

So the three slowly went to find the minister ,and the message of their return had also reached the king.

The king sought out to meet his sons, to look at them work out Jacob's plan.
