Annabelle's POV:

BEEP BEEP.... The message tone goes off as I step out of the shower. Walking towards the bed where I threw it earlier, I pick it up and see that there's a message from an unknown number "I wonder if this is Olivia texting..." My question is answered when I open the message to read it.

UNKNOWN:

Annabelle, this is Olivia from the hospital. I would like you to meet me at Starbucks in an hour. Make sure you're on time, this is not a negotiation.

I scoff and throw my phone on the bed once again; walking towards my closet and grumbling under my breath about how demanding she is, but continue to make sure I look suitable to go and meet her.

Once satisfied with my appearance, I check my hair and go over how this is gonna go. "I need to make sure to be earlier otherwise it will bother me for the rest of the month...need to make sure I have everything uhm, phone? check...cash? check...toiletries in case I need to use a restroom and I need anything they don't have? check. Okay I guess I'm ready." I say out loud after making a checklist for my belongings; making one final check to see that I have everything I make my way out of my apartment and into my car making sure to arrive ten minutes earlier.

Pulling up in front of Starbucks I check my hair and lips one last time before grabbing my things and going inside. My favorite coffee shop smelled of freshly brewed coffee and my favorite baked goods. "Its literally the best smell ever" I say to myself while looking around for a place to sit. I make sure to find a seat near the door so I can immediately know when Olivia walks in. A waitress approaches my table and asks if I want anything "Oh no thank you, I'm waiting for someone." I say just as the bell above the door rings and a beautiful person steps through the door, of course it was Olivia looking as hot as ever in leather pants and a white shirt tucked in that is not fully buttoned; showing off her lean and well sculpted collarbone and neck. "Oh here they are now."

Olivia approaches my table and sits down speaking to the waitress "I'll have a plain black large coffee no sugar and she'll have a caramel frappuccino with almond milk, oh and extra caramel." Just as the waitress begins to walk away she calls her back, "I wasn't done yet. As well as two choc-chipped muffins." she dismisses the waitress with a wave of her hand. "Please!" I shout after the waitress glaring at Olivia, "Do you have no manners?! You could at least try and be nice to the service workers." She glares at me and speaks in a dominating tone, making me shrink back in my seat "I know how to speak darling, no need to correct me. Besides she didn't deserve a thank you. Not when she was too busy checking out that guy over there to write down anything I said." She says pointing in the direction of a older guy working on his computer. "She was checking him out? Huh I didn't even notice..." I say while picking at my nails feeling embarrassed. I felt a cold hand against my own, pulling my hands apart. "You really shouldn't pick at them love, they're too pretty to ruin." I pull away turning a light shade of pink while turning my head to watch the barista work, "How'd you know I wanted a caramel frap with extra caramel and almond milk?" I ask, genuinely interested in how she knew. "You come in here every morning with the same order. I would know because more often than not you're one person ahead of me. No i'm not stalking you this is just the closest decent coffee shop near my building; and you come in right before me. I happen to be pretty observant." She says while playing with my the ring on her thumb, which makes my heart stir a little because I find it pretty cute.

Once we get our order Olivia officially introduces herself. "By the way my full name is Olivia Peirson. I own Peirson and Co. a couple of blocks away from where you work. Yes I know who your boss is, we've been to quite a few of the same events over the years and I've seen you at some of them. No I did not know who you were when I jumped in to save you, it was a spur of the moment type of thing. Since then I have formed a liking towards you. Mainly because you listen well and happen to be beautiful, but also because I don't think you need to kill yourself." She stopped to take a sip from her coffee and I sat there silently while being stuck on the fact that she praised me, she continued and I found myself fixated on the way her lips moved when she spoke. "I want to get to know you Annabelle, if you would let me of course. I know this is sudden and all considering what happened and me being a complete stranger; but I want to take you to your therapy sessions and take care of you since you appear to have trouble eating and drinking anything other than caramel frappucinno's. So what do you say?".

I snapped out of my daydream about her lips to her asking me whether or not i was okay with everything that she just said. Now, truth be told i was not thinking about anything else but her cold hands and her lips that looked really soft; and i sure as hell did not hear anything that she just said but nodded my head in agreement anyways. "Good then the next time I'll be seeing you would be this Saturday yes?" she questioned while finishing her coffee and starting on her muffin. I was confused to say the least but did not want her to know i had been too busy drooling over her hands and lips to pay attention to anything that she just said.

"I guess so" I replied while tearing off a piece of my muffin and then deciding I could not eat it. Pushing it aside and instead drinking my frap. We sat in silence until we were both finished, then Olivia stood up and straightened out her shirt then spoke "I will message you Saturday morning to make sure you're ready for your appointment. Now if you'll excuse me I have to get to work. I hope you have a good day further." I nodded and replied "You know you don't have to be this formal with me right? I mean im not one of your clients you could speak to me like you would a friend..." She looked confused and tilted her head "I will try that." With that last sentence she paid the bill and left.
