He searched her eyes not seeing any spell of Savage in it. He stilled as she raise her head to look at him. She spotted him. He almost thought that she is really looking at him now. Her eyes were like the beautiful moon that doesn't spark, it was grey and light. He cannot escape it. It is inviting him to stare at it.

"I want to see you, soon, Even if it takes many years, marido."

He stilled, flabbergasted. Shocked. Surprised. Bewildered. In his hundred year of life, he felt this emotion for the very first time. Her face is so innocent that he could see pure intention. It wasn't a bluff, it's real. She is being honest to what she said. What is this feeling? His right hand travelled into his chest. This is unreal. This is... fraudulent! Deceptive! His heart... His frozen heart is doing crazy!

"Are you done eating?"

Luna tried feeling him if he's done because it was dead silent. She couldn't hear anything.

"Uhmm. I was thinking if I could do... some household chores? I promise not to exhaust myself, I will only entertain myself when I think I had nothing to do. And can I go to the garden? I like flowers and taking care of them. And I also want books!" She snapped after remembering that there is a bookshelf behind her.

"I like reading historical books! I am also willing to read it to you." Her eyes were sparkling imagining herself telling him stories from the past. It was a hobby of her to be talkative about things she learnt from books. It would be awesome if he would be listening to her from the dark and ask her questions. She was imagining him and her to be sharing thoughts about the past.

"Marido, can I steal some of your time and you listen to me when I read? I'm so excited." She was clapping her hands and was giggling her arms and feet.

He remained staring at her. No one can resist this woman if she's acting this way. He had this feeling that he shouldn't kill the excitement overwhelming her right now.

This woman...

His frown turned into a sigh.

"Okay."

She insisted it. If ever she will back out because she's getting bored to it, she won't let this woman get what she wants again.

The following days, she did what she asked from him, cooking in the cuisine, cleaning her room, visiting the garden, watering the plants, and reading him books. She would be chasing butterflies and pick flowers to put in the empty vases of his castle. She never asked him to go outside. She didn't even walk near the gate.

She even requested the charwomen to have grand clean up in the castle. She changed the curtains in the night. She told Gael to change carpets, clean the chandlers, and the outside walls of the castle. In short, she made a brand new castle that won't seem to be creepy at all.

With her bare hands, she held two handles of the grand breech wood door towards the biggest balcony located in front of the castle. She pulled the handles to feel the cold breeze of the air on her skin. She walked towards the railings to see the whole Pyrenees' twinkling lights and clear mountains. Standing in this place, under the bright moon, she spread her arms to feel the blow of the wind and smell it. It is so good to see and so pleasing to feel.

I've never felt this peaceful before, so good to embrace.

Gael was standing there watching how excited his milady to be in this place like she never felt it before. He doesn't know what she is thinking but his King told him to do what she wants. And this is it, she made him take care of the flowers inside the castle he had never done in his life. She made him smell a flower-like castle. She made him enjoy the sparkles of the chandlers. She made him maintain the freshness of the flowers inside the castle. This is a whole new experience.

His eyes landed on the bright moon in the sky and then to the woman who is wearing a white dress, golden hair dancing in the air...

She is indeed, a good to be Leonardo's Princess.

BEFORE the morning comes in which everyone must be in their peaceful sleep, the King's door opened revealing his sneaking wife who was holding a book and a torch.

"Are you still awake, marido?" She sneakily whispered checking her back if someone was behind her. She stepped one more in the room, closed it, and sighed in relief.

She stood straight and looked somewhere in the darkness.

"Marido?"

It took 30 seconds before she heard him hummed and she sighed again.

"Good thing you’re awake." She started walking to his breech wood chair and putting down the torch.

"Are you not sleepy? I want to share with you the content of this book. It's so interesting!" She hugged the book and giggled.

"The Renaissance artists' work of art is still famous until now. They have carved, sculpted, and painted many remarkable artworks from their time that remained in the history. This is so exciting." While dreaming about how painters made unique art forms, she started nibbling the book and telling him what she understood in the history of Renaissance art.

He doesn't have time to say anything and just listened to her. He remained sitting on his bed, leaning on the headboard. Three hours later, she closed the book she borrowed from him and spotted him again making him sit straight.

"Are you asleep?"

So she has now realized that if it wasn't him, her listener must be sleeping by now.

"No."

He saw her wide smile making him grimace. Isn't she sleepy at all? And it is nearly breaking dawn for damn's sake.

"Thank you for listening, marido. I had fun talking to you."

His brows furrowed. Talk? He didn't even move his lips a bit.

"My father would always scold me for being a sleepyhead every morning. I would also sleep in my classes because I stay up the whole night before dawn. I prefer reading in the night because it is quite and no one bothers me." She stood up to put back the book to his bookshelf. She then again, spotted him in the darkness after getting the torch.

"So you don't need to worry about me being active all night." Her eyes smiled.

"So... can you tell Gael not to wake me up until I woke up myself?" She was playing with the tip of her curly hair feeling embarrassed.

"I will come back to you at night again so I can tell you more." She cheered herself, looked somewhere in the darkness, and smiled.

"Thank you, marido. Good morning." She started walking to the door, opened it, and leaving him stunned.

She was so happy just by telling him the history of the Renaissance artists? And she didn't even felt sleepy by telling him about it from midnight until dawn? And she will come back to him to tell him more?

"Nevarro"

Upon uttering his valet's name, he popped out from nowhere, head bowed.

"Buy more historical books. As many as it is."

"Si, mi Rey" [Yes, my King] He answered before disappearing.

"Savage"

Upon calling his mistress' valet's name, he popped out, bowing his head.

"Don't disturb her sleep if you want limbs."

"Si, mi Rey" He then disappeared.

"Alajandra"

A female valet came out from the window and bowed down her head.

"Si, su Altezza" [Yes, your highness]

"Light dresses for my Hermosa."

"Si. Mi Rey."
