Oh... ants....ANTS!?!?!?

I just entered the fifth floor and already I see a large pack of ants waiting for the next adventurer to roam through. Before I do anything I place various Rune traps to create a minefield of explosive magic. When I finish I drink a mana potion to refill my mana. I aim my hand towards the large group of ants and shoot a Firebolt at them to get their attention. The moment they see me they charge into my direction. I retreat back behind my mine field and watch as the ants suffer a mass cas that wipes out two thirds of their numbers. The remaining number of about twenty were still charging. I pull out my swords and activate AW and charge at them as well.

Swinging and slicing for half and hour and I finally finish them off. After collecting the loot I continue on to find more packs. Eventually, after repeating the process several times, I come across a large room filled to the brim with ants. In the center of the room is a large mountain of ants. I'm dumfounded by the sheer size of this pack, yet I can't keep the smile from appearing on my face. My very blood boils in excitement from the sheer number and anticipation for the fight.

Before I jump in recklessly, I place as many traps in the entire corridor behind me. I then make my way to the pack and activate AW and Oakflesh. I then jump in and start throwing magic left and right while swinging my swords. Not even half an hour later of magic and mana potions and I already starting to get overwhelmed. I retreat back to the corridor as fast as I can without looking back. I can hear the explosions going off as I continue to run but I don't stop.

Not until I stop hearing the traps going off do I stop to look behind me. Seeing no ants following me I dispell any of the traps that were left behind, making my way back to the chamber. I collect whatever loot I see along the way and when I reach the chamber It's almost empty. Almost. The mountain of ants that I saw is still there, although mich smaller than when I first saw it. It looks like the ants are eating something. I move forward to clear out the ants using magic and my swords. Once they are all gone I can see what the were eating. A mans corpse can be seen lying with barely any meat left on his bones. Several pieces of loot and a bag of magic stones and materials are left behind. I take everything into my inventory and say a prayer to the fallen adventurer before continuing on my way.
