She smiled, gently and kneeled to my level.

"Who are you?"

Her face lifted even more.

"I am you", she spoke in a soft voice.

"Why do I always see you in my dreams?"

"Because you are coming back to yourself."

"What? Wa- what does that mean?"

"You'll know, sooner or later. It depends on you." She continuously smiled.

She laughed, elegantly, and everything around her began to fade.

"I think that you're going to have to leave the old man's palace. Something's about to happen," was her last words before she sighed and stood up.

In confusion, I called after her as she turned around and returns to the darkness.

Soon, my sight cuts.

I woke up in a panting sweat.

With a tired sigh, I got up, trudging the bathroom, rinsing my face at the sink. I stared myself with my hands screwed into the sink edge.

Why did I have to leave?
