We were now met by the slightly relieving air of the watchtower. She sighs, letting go, and I briskly walk towards the windows surrounded the tower.

I shiver.

There was a horde of creatures, climbing and crawling past the walls like ants scrambling about after their nest gets kicked to nothing. They were the same monsters, those reptiles that wouldn't leave us alone. The more I stared, the more I saw bits and pieces of the palace being discharged.

The rest found themselves behind me at each side, their frowns being pulled more alongside their silent disturb.

"Yeah..." Emmanuel follows, his eyes still on the army.

I lower my head. "I thought the borders were closed."

Her voice becomes smaller. "They must have broken through.". I can hear the sigh she makes, with the quiet she brings along. Tense rushes in the more each second passes.
