"You don't deserve my help. You people brought demons into my home and just run. I'm out of the village for five seconds and I come back to see that half of it's destroyed."

I sighed, trying to calm myself. He was sent to help us, yet he's scornful. 

"I should end it right here you weak bastard-"

I refrained from being provoked. I needed to buy myself time.

"Alright- alright. What we did were wrong, I know that, but we didn't have a choice. They were going to kill us."

He scoffs. "You shouldn't have come in the first place, now my father has to deal with wrecked rooves."

His father has to deal with them. His father has to be the leader. He couldn't be the son of anyone else.

"You're father is Mr. Wang?"

He pauses. He was his son. I react to his hesitation by glancing in his direction to see his face.

When I do, the arrow that was pressed on my neck was forced even more. I was now facing him.
