Chapter 3

Jungkook dropped me at my house to get ready for the party.I looked at the nearest clock which read 5pm.I still had 3 hours to get ready which was enough for me.So i plopped my body on the bed and started scrolling through instagram when my eyes started feeling heavy and i fell fast asleep thankfully i woke up just right on time and i still had an hour left so i quickly got out of bed,took a shower and started to get ready for the party .

"Hell yeah i am gonna slay today" looking at my reflection in the mirror i was more than satisfied with the final results.I texted Jungkook to see if he was ready to pick me up and threw my phone on the bed.5 mins later the doorbell rang signalling that Jungkook is here .I quickly walked to the door to receive the most waited person as i was excited to see him in his attire.There he stood with a grey suit and a white button down shirt which made his muscles more visible making him look handsome as ever by the look of his face i could tell that he loved my look as well."If you are done staring i would like to tell you you look extremely gorgeous"."You look handsome as well ,all the girls are gonna be swooning over you"i said with a chuckle "I don't know why jimin decided to have a theme party and specially black tie"jungkook said while i was locking my door."Maybe he wanted to check the full potential in looks of his entire college"i said walking behind Jungkook to the car.Jungkook laughed at my assumption on the theme and opened the car door for me.

We were almost near to Jimin's house which was a 2 story mansion with a giant swiming pool.The loud music invading our ears."Lets find our soulmates tonight".I said to Jungkook and he chuckled."i don't want one i already have you"."By soulmate i mean a girlfriend for you and a boyfriend for me"i said looking at him."We will see about that or maybe you can find me one"my eyes widen to his response"Thats a great idea .. i will help you so in return i expect you to help me"."done" he said putting the car in park.

We entered the venue,a lot of people were already drunk some of them were in the pool and some were dancing with their partners.

Jungkook's pov:

Y/N went to the restroom and there i was desperately trying to find a known face in the crowd my eyes found two familiar faces in the crowd sitting by the bar.Jimin with a lot of emotions on his face while rose was trying to relax him.I decided to accompany them, pushing past the crowd i finally reached them but they were two focused on their conversation that they didn't even notice me. Jimin was telling Rose how i never give him a chance to be closer to Y/N and how he will never be able to tell Y/N how much he likes her. Upon hearing that i just decided to leave them hoping to have some fresh air away from all the noise and the smell of alcohol.

Y/N'S POV:

I came out of the restroom and saw jungkook walking towards the bar i decided to catch up with him when i saw him stopping. I was about to call him when i heard my name in Jimin and Rose's conversation and Jungkook walking away from them without noticing me. I ignored everything and greeted our two friends seated by the bar."Hey Jimin i am really enjoying your party thanks for inviting me".Jimin immediately dropped that sad look and smiled which went completely unnoticed by you"If you don't mind dancing with me i can make this party more enjoyable for you"Jimin said with a grin.You extended your hands towards him"Shall we".I said, to which held my hand and escorted me to the dance floor.

We were crazily dancing on the dance floor hand in hand,not caring about anything when i spotted Jungkook coming closer.I pulled him towards us and started dancing closer to him when he grabbed my hand and stopped me.I looked at him confused to why was he acting like that.He said something which i couldn't hear due to the loud music."What!!!???"I shouted over the music walking away from the dance floor,Jungkook following me behind."I...."and everything else that he said was muffled.I grabbed his collar to pull him closer to me,my sudden action made him stumble which caused to me to fall on the nearest couch with him on top of me, our lips almost connecting.Jungkook tried to get up and lost his balance which resulted in his lips on me.I pushed him as hard as i could,got up and left the party with Rose and Jennie.The entire ride was silent.

I bid my goodbye to the girls and went straight to my room.I changed into my pagamas and plopped on the bed when i heard my phone vibrating for the hundredth time and there they were a hundred messages from Jungkook and Jimin.I decide to open Jungkook's messages first which had a lot of "i am sorry","i hope u are not mad at me","Why did u run away","Did you reach home safely?"to which i responded that i was not mad and it was not his fault.

Jungkook: Are u home?

You: Yes.Why?

Just then i heard the doorbell.I straightened my clothes and rushed towards the door as soon as i opened the door the man infront of me embraced me into a big hug."I am so sorry Y/N it was just an accident, i hope you are not mad at me.I swea...r....."i shushed him and pulled him closer in my embrace."I am not mad at you it was me who pulled u its not ur fault,you wanna come inside??".He nodded and followed me inside my house.I made hot chocolate for the both of us while Jungkook was in my room finding a good movie to watch.I handed him his cup and sat on the bed beside him."Should we watch 'lovely bones'?"he suggested, i nodded in response, sipping on my hot chocolate.We snuggled closer, him putting the blanket over us ...with the passage of time i felt me eyes getting heavy and i slept on his chest.

Jungkook's Pov:

I switched the TV off and called Y/N and i heard no response so i looked at her and she was sound asleep.A smile found its way to my lips ,i gently put her head on her pillow and adjusted her body to make space for my own self and fell asleep next to her thinking about the party and most importantly Jimin..
