Chapter:4

The harsh rays of the sun coming through the window of my room took me out of my deep slumber.I shifted slightly turning towards the man that had his arms wrapped around my body."Good Morning",Jungkook greeted with half open eyes,messed up hair and his raspy morning voice.A flashback of last night made me shift uncomfortably under his grasp.I gently picked up his arm,seperating his body from me and got out of bed,entering the restroom.

Upon exiting the restroom all i can see was an empty bedroom.I walked towards the vanity to get ready for the day.A smile rose to my cheeks when i saw a note on the mirror which said LOVE YOU with a heart next to it

I picked up my phone to see a text message from Jungkook saying that he went to get breakfast.I checked more unread messages one of them from my mom saying she will be back home today.I jumped in excitement,i was really missing my mom she has been out of town for over a month now and it was getting extremely lonely in this big house without her.Suddenly the doorbell rang catching me off gaurd.I quickly walked towards the door to open it upon seeing the person in front of me i jumped into her arms causing her to stumble back she giggled at my excitement "I missed you soo much Mom" i said with moisture in my eyes."Aww my poor baby i missed you too.Can i get inside now"i let go of her and walked towards her car to bring her stuff inside when i heard footsteps approaching me i averted my attention to the boy who was holding our breakfast in his hand "Is your mom home"i nodded to his question "Finally!!"he exclaimed, more excited than me running towards the main door.I finally grabbed all the stuff and entered the house seeing mom and jungkook catching up while Jungkook was getting the table ready.I sat on the table looking at both of them while they ignored my existence.It has been like this since we were kids Jungkook was fond of my mom and my mom loved him like her own son while Jungkook's parents did the same with me."Mom i wasn't aware you were coming or i would have gotten you breakfast as well"Jungkook said to my mom with a pouty face."Its fine honey i already did my breakfast on my way back,you two can enjoy yourself i am gonna take some rest and then we all will go meet your parents.Is that okay with you two?"She said looking at the both of us "Sure!"we both said in unison."Look at you two, you are so cute together".I rolled my eyes at her remark when she decided to show her love towards us by pinching our cheeks i winced at her small gesture."Now i am gonna leave you both alone,have fun love birds" she winked at the both of us walking towards her room.

Mom was one of those people who thought that both of us were in love or maybe we were secretly dating and were too shy to tell her.

Jungkook's Pov:

I went home to see my mom and dad preparing food in the kitchen.To be honest i also want to have pure love like them ..inseperable,caring and always there for eachother.They are the type of couple people are often jealous of  they are just perfect for eachother ."Hey Mom! Hey Dad" i said putting the stuff i got from the grocery store on the kitchen counter."Hey son! when is your girlfriend coming"my dad said with a sly grin on his face already knowing that i get irritated whenever he calls Y/N my girlfriend."First of all we are just friends and the second thing Y/N and her mom will be here any minute".Just then the doorbell rang.My mom went to receive the guests and there she was wearing a black dress looking gorgeous, as soon as we made eye contact chills went down my spine i shook my head and began following her towards the couch she gave me a smile which i returned and went to the kitchen where my dad was,to get a glass of water."Can you please admit that you are in love with her" Dad said smiling towards me "Not now Dad please not infront of her"i said gulping down the water"Ok son i won't disturb you and your girlfriend but only if you will hurry and get this old man his grandkid "he laughed after finishing his sentence as he saw me choking on the water i was drinking.I rolled my eyes and left the scene as there was no way to stop this man from embarrassing me infront of my bestfriend and her mom. I sat next to Y/N and got closer to her and whispered "I am done with them can we go somewhere alone" our moms caught me in the act and started saying the same things they always say when they see us both together"They are so adorable together","Look at those lovebirds","When will you both get married"

Y/N's POV:

Their remarks were not even bothering me anymore i was so used to them calling us a couple that i decided to keep my mouth shut as there was no point in opposing their words, just them i felt my phone vibrating i took it out to see Jimin's name on the notification. i opened the message to respond while tilting my phone so that Jungkook won't see it or else he will throw a tantrum like last time.I felt his hand on my shoulder and i gave him a quick smile averting my attention to the conversation that was going on between me and Jimin

Jimin: I hope you are okay after last night

You: Thanks for asking Jimin i am totally fine now

Jimin:Thats a relief.Is there's any chance you are free tonight?

You:Your plan will decide if i am free or not

Jimin: I have two tickets to the amusement park i thought you would be interested in going with me

You: I won't ask why you already have two tickets but lets just say i will be waiting for you so be on time ok?

Jimin:Ok then i will see you soon

I locked my phone smiling."Who was it"the boy next to me asked with an annoyed expression."I will be out tonight so don't come searching for me at my house."I won't"he said with a cold expression,i was surprised that he didn't ask me where i was going or most importantly whom i was going with

Jungkook's Pov:

I felt Y/N being really quite so i stared at her to catch her attention but she kept on texting someone on her phone while smiling and somehow i got irritated with the person whom she was texting i got closer to take a look at her phone and she tilted it making me question ,whom that person might be i took out my phone and opened the camera holding it in my right hand while extending the same hand on her shoulder i smirked to myself and captured a picture of her phone.She looked at me giving me a quick smile and i smiled back.I immediately held my phone to look at the photo that i just took and there it was the person i dreaded the most making solo plans with my bestfriend . I quickly locked my phone when i felt Y/N putting her phone down and her attention now fully at me.

Y/N'S POV

After a few hours I excused myself and told my mom i will come home late tonight and went straight to my house .I retouched my makeup and sent a text to jimin telling him that i was waiting for him.15 minutes later i received a text message from Jimin indicating that he was waiting for me outside my house.

"You are looking gorgeous"he said with slight blush on his cheeks"You don't look bad yourself"i said not knowing how to complement a guy as the only guy i ever hung around was Jungkook with whom i was comfortable enough to say anything honestly whether it was good or bad and same is the case with him complementing me.I smiled to myself thinking about my bestfriend .

I was watching Jimin who went to get me cotton candy.We almost went to every ride in the park ,Jimin came with two cotton candies and gave me one of them a sudden shiver went down my spine because of the cold weather."Are you okay Y/N"Jimin asked with a concerned look on his face which made me smile."Yeah!! I am having so much fun "i said shivering."I am glad that you are having fun with me"he said while putting his jacket on my shoulder."i am sad to say this but lets go to our last ride of the night"he said intertwining his fingers with me making me blush at his every action.We got on the ferris wheel.Jimin sat infront of me in the booth as the ferris wheel started to go on the top jimin shifted in his seat he extended both of his hands towards me.I looked at him and than his hands.He grabbed both of my hands in his and started speaking"Y/N i wanted to tell you something ,i have no idea how are you gonna react to it but i have been waiting for so long to tell you this"he paused for a bit and then continued"I really like you Y/N and i have liked you since the start of highschool"I looked at him with my mouth opened not knowing what to say "Y/n Will you be my Girlfriend" .
