Ch.29

In a huge tower that stood over a long road way, two men with headphones on were resting their legs up on a lot of buttons. They each wore brown khaki pants and a white shirt that was tucking into their pants.

BEEP!

A loud noise rang out, causing the men to jolt up. It kept ringing and ringing, making them hold their ears.

"F-Flight S has disappeared?!"

Screamed one man. 'What happened?!' He pressed a button to turn the ringing off, making the other man become more focused.

"Where was its last position, Conor?"

"I-I don't know?! We both weren't watching!"

"Damn it! I hate when your right!"

The two the pressed some buttons. After a while, they pulled up a screen and a video played. It showed a long, black top moving against the wind. In the next moment, a purple slit appeared in the sky and view flew in it.

"Alert.....everyone! This is...this is bad!"

The two then picked up multiple phones and dialed away. The green radar kept circling and circling, making a 'Pwat' noise.

The passengers of plane S weren't located for a whole week.

....

"Everyone! I need you to stay calm!"

Daemon and Sebastian were standing in the middle of the lounge. 'I need them to calm down first so I can think without worry..' Daemon eyes were looking all around the plane.

They were thinking about the best possible way to deal with this situation.

"Stay calm?! We're gonna die!"

"Yeah! I'm far from calm!"

"Why...why did this happen to us?!"

The students were far from calm. His friends, sisters, disciple friends, and even his second in command, Sebastian was scared. 'Damn..it..' Daemon couldn't bare to let them die.

What he couldn't bare the most though was seeing the horror on his sisters face. Not only has he seen a new wave of excitement from her today, hes also seen a new wave of terror.

"Sebastian, take over! I'll be back!"

Daemon then ran away towards the cockpit. He got to the door that led to the room and opened it. When he did, the smell of blood immediately hit his nose.

"Jesus christ.."

The pilot and co-pilot were slouched over, each with blood pouring down from their eyes, ears, and nose. 'The force of entering the dungeon head on must have killed them..'

When entering a new dungeon, you must be prepared for it by...either taking the serum, or covering your body in magic. That's the best way to do it.

Daemon then looked over and saw the woman who had a smile on her face hunched up against the wall. Daemon could instanly tell that she was breathing, but very, very slowly.

'Okay, okay. The pilots are dead, meaning this plane is drifting without a driver. I need to..'

Daemon pushed the pilot out the way and sat down in the seat. 'Never done this before..' Daemon looked all around at the buttons. He then found a specific button and forced a smile.

Daemon then placed his hand on the wheel and grunted. 'Pull..' His hands were shaking as he was trying to pull the wheel up. 'Just enough to..' His gritted his teeth, causing his gums to bleed.

'PULL!!!!...'

His viens were popping out on his wrist. Just then, a small creak went off and Daemon looked back.

"Dae~mon?.."

'Fuck!'

He saw his teary eyed sister standing in the door. Her shirt was drenched in tears and snot and her eyes only had him in them.

"Dae~mon...hold me...I'm...scared..~..."

From those words alone, Daemon felt the wheel pull up slightly, making his sweat fade a way slightly. 'Yes!' Daemon then pressed a green button, got up, picked his sister up, grabbed the ladies arm, dragged her, and ran out the room.

'We should only scrape the mountain now, I think..' He put on auto pilot. He was trying to make the plane go up before he did. Daemon still knew however that they would collide with the mountain.

"Dae~mon!!"

She cried in his embrace.

"I-Its okay.."

Daemon slowly patted her back. 'I will survive..' Daemon reached the main area and saw that everyone had their seat belts in. 'Good Sebastian..'

Daemon comforted his sister while looking at the emergency exit door. 'I.. No, we will have to go from there!' In 1 minute and 42 seconds, the plane will strike the mountain. Daemon didn't know if it was enough time.

He didn't care if it was. He just needed to get these people off and down to safety.

"Everyone! Please...relax, okay? We..will have to do the unthinkable and jump out from here. Sarah will go first and glide down the people as they come down after her."

Daemon then looked at Sarah. 'Please help me..' Sarah stared at Daemon, the weight of the people lives getting to her. 'Damn it..' Sarah shook her head and got up. 'I'm Sarah Fye! I'm a magic knight who protects the people! This is...what I do!'

Sarah bawled her fist and nodded at Daemon. Resolve was what everyone needed.

"Lily. Be a good girl for your brother, okay?"

Daemon held her tighter towards his chest and turned the latch. Instanly, air flew in the plane, making his back burn from the pressure of the wind. 'Even with the defense, it still hurts..'

"Sarah! Now!"

"Sebastian! Get everyone lined up!"

He gave orders and they followed. Sarah then made her way to the door. Being one with wind helped her trudge through.

"Dae~mon! Please come with me~.."

Sarah stood beside the door, holding her sword in place. Daemon then shook his head.

"I'll...be last. I have to make sure that you'll all survive.."

Daemon slowly lessened his grip on her. He then nodded at Sarah and she nodded back. 'Here goes nothing..' Sarah shifted and jumped out the plane.

"No.."

Daemon smiled his sister, his grip on her starting to lessen.

"Please forgive me, Lily.."

"NOOO!"

Daemon shifted around and tossed his sister out. Her cries broke his soul as a small tear was trying to escape his face. 'Mom. Dad. Please protect her if I don't..'

The truth is, Daemon isn't immortal with his basic regeneration magic. A certain amount of damage could kill him if it's enough.

Daemon may have God magic, but he doesn't use it like that, completely forgetting about it.

A complete idiot.

The process repeated with all the students crying and screaming. The time was getting shorted and the rumbling only got fiercer. 'Okay. We're almost done..'

"Lucifer. Please reassure my sister.."

Daemon started at Lucifer who was covering his face from the wind.

"Daemon.."

"Please...Lucifer. Please.."

Lucifer stared at him. 'I... Just please don't..' Lucifer face started scrunching. Just then, someone pulled him in, making his face go into a shoulder.

"Survive,...Lucifer. Don't worry about me.."

Daemon didn't get a chance to see a reaction as he threw him out. When he did, the two made eye contact for a millisecond. It was small, but the emotion in it was real.

"Looks like its us two now.."

The engine gave away as Sebastian and Lucifer stood there.

"..."

"I'll...be coming right after you.."

"...~"

Emotions started to pour out in tear form. The thought of him never seeing his cousin again and the thought of him never seeing the first person to understand him again pressured on him.

"I..will. I will survive, Sebastian.."

Sebastian came up to the door and stood in it. His clothes were flapping all around, his hair as well. 'Let's see each other on the other side..' Sebastian soluted to Daemon and jumped out.

Daemon was slightly surprised by this, but frowned when he realized something that he had to do. 'I..have to get their bodies..' Wouldn't be fair for these people to be buried in an unknown world away from their familes..

Daemon then arrived in the cockpit and got their bodies. He carried them over his shoulders as he came back. He then struggled to pick up the woman.

"I-I'm fine!"

She said, surprising Daemon as he didn't think she would be able to speak. She then got up and stood in the door.

"Your a brave young man. Thank...you for all that you done here today. You're...a true hero.."

She smiled at Daemon and jumped out. 'I..try..' 10 seconds left until impact. Daemon was about to launch off when...

"No...way..."

Daemon threw the bodies out high into the sky and ran back. 'no. No. No! NO!' He reached a door and slumg it open. There he saw a little girl sitting on the toilet while crying.

'No time!'

Daemon ran and grabbed the girl. In the same motion, he bawled up and bursted through the wall. The air immediately made him fly back.

BOOM!

The plane crashed into the mountain and the smoke instanly engulfed Daemon, making him feel pain from all over. 'Damn it..' Smoke was invading his body as he flew through the dark clouds.

'I'm...losing conscious..'

Daemons eyes were blinking at different times. 'I just hope..' He shook his head around to get one final thought in.

'I just hope everyone's fine..'

He closed his eyes and his thoughts faded away.

....

Sarah hit the snow, followed by Lily and a few others. She did what Daemon told her to, and used her wind to secure everyone who was falling down.

After Sebastian landed, she knew that Daemon would soon be coming down. Sarah then waited with her hands out at the sky. She was looking all around while shaking from the cold.

"Dae~mon.."

Lily was looking around as well. Her big brother was the only person who has been with her since birth. He was the only person to ever show her any sort of love and affection.

BOOM!

A huge explosion went off. This caused everyone to look up and to the left. They all then saw a huge red explosion against a large mountain.

"Hm? Wheres...Daemon?.."

Lucifer started panicking.

"Daemon?"

Sarah looked around in confusion.

"Big...brother?.."

Lilys heart was beating too fast for her small body.

"Big brother?! Where are you?!"

Lily started walking away, her eyes buck wide and never closing to blink!

"Daemon! Please...please come out. This joke...it isn't...funny.."

A series of memories flooded her head as she started panicking. Her breathing became rapid and ragid as she started holding her chest.

"Oh! I see someone!"

Lily fell onto her knees, not hearing what Sarah said. Sarah then guided someone down from afar and they eventually landed in a small tree.

The others ran up to her and noticed that it was the flight attendant. They were surprised by this as they thought she wasn't capable of movement on her own.

"Daemon!? What happened to Daemon?!"

Lucifer aggressively placed his hands on her shoulders. 'How is she here and he isn't?!' The lip he was biting was started to leave a trail of blood below it.

"H-He stayed back to get the pilot and co-pilot! I..don't know what happened after that! I promise!"

Everyone took in their words of realization. 'Daemon..saved us..' A 9th grader fell onto his knees. 'We laughed at him, and yet...he saved us..' A 10th grader fell onto their knees. The harsh reality started to sink into their minds.

'And...he payed the price...with his life?. Thats...not fair..'

Lucifer and Sarah stammered slightly and fell down. 'This can't be true..' Sarah held her chest, tears pouring down onto the snowy ground. 'Daemon. If you...if you..' Lucifer knew Daemon had God like powers, but this reaction is only natural.

Thinking that the love of your life has truly died was excruciating and overwhelmed any other thought.

Just then, the sleeping Sarah started to move. She passed out from stress when she realized like everyone else what was happening.

Sarah slightly looked up and saw everyone staring blankly with sorrow and fear on their faces. Lily was starring into the sky, her eyes almost voided of life. The bracelet lucifer wore now had a tinge of red in it. Sarah's sword was moving in the wind. Sebastian was starring at the ground in regret.

"Wheres...Daemon?.."

She saw everyone, but him. 'Knowing him, he probably tried to save everyone. He might have used the emergency exit for that..' A small red flame then caught her eye and she looked over. She saw a sea of black cloud circling around a mountain side.

'If hes not here...and with their looks...'

Her brain clicked.

'No..'

The pieces were coming together on their own.

"No..."

She tried scrambling the pieces, but they only rebuilt themselves.

"No~.."

Her eyed rolled and she fell back into the snow. Sarah brain was thumping as tears crept out of her eyes. 'This...'

Everyone was bewildered. Friend, leader, brother, lover, they all had some sort of connection with him.

'Daemon...is dead..'
