By the time I joined the noisy crowd within the streets of Shimizu Town, the fog had long disappeared. There were barely any signs of the fight that took place last night, just a few bubbles of water lying on the streets, here and there, that made it look like it rained. Seiren tried to keep me in the office for a bit longer, but I’d blown him a kiss before I fled.
I knew that the longer I stayed with him, the harder it would be to leave after I’d finally gotten what I dreamed of for so long. Six years of dreaming and yearning. Six years of being with Soo-Won because of it. Because up until now, it had felt as though Seiren was someone I could never reach.
Or touch.
