You know, a girl thing!

Desperately, I wanted to be less sensitive, and my despair ended only when I approached the elevator, thinking that I would find her. I felt guilty for having abandoned her for so long. Just one day she had spent with her friends, during which she had thought she could hide a very important detail! I had left her without spending my time continuing to track those after her. Even though I gave her back her freedom for one day, I had still cheated her and I had continued to follow her in a whirlwind of anxiety.

Maybe I'd be a good enough liar, if I had some more time.

Although the temptation was great to throw myself into the room, I opened the door quietly. She looked at me hard, heading to the toilet. I was faster than her and I cut off her path. She was surprised when I placed myself between her and the bathroom door, caressing her hair.

"Hi, you! I missed you!" My breath brushed her cheek when I bent toward her.

"Well!" she said.
