New year's eve

Love. Such a complicated word for an emotion so deep, honest, and vulnerable. It was like a rumor for the two girls—everyone talked about it, but they didn't truly know what it meant.

Discussing love had always been something eccentric for Gracie. She could debate on the topic for hours, but never actually get to the point of talking about the so-called emotion.

"Love at first sight" definitely didn't exist, in her mind. She didn't understand how a person could fall so deep into another's soul, just with one look. It was called attraction, not love.

The girl didn't believe one person could be so special for anyone. Because in conclusion, everything always ended. The so-called "love of your life" would walk out of it simply by looking at someone else. They would leave you alone, crying, and move on with someone they found more attractive.
