I love you

It was physically painful staying away from each other that long.

It had been a week since they had touched each other, a few days since exchanging a small smile in class, and about three hours since they had seen each other. But it felt like an eternity.

Their bodies were made for each other. Their hands fit together perfectly, they fit into each other’s sides while cuddling in bed, and even their lips were perfect for each other. Their hearts beat in the same rhythm, and sometimes, they liked to breathe that way too, calming each other down.

It was like they had been created especially for each other. Two individuals, one soul. And now that they were used to spending that much time together every day, when they sometimes didn’t, it would hurt, both physically and mentally.
