Auguste gazed at the woman beside him. No, it's not because of the carefree way she drank that beer that made her look so innocent and pure. It's because of the way she just described what true love is.

It has been years since he felt that for someone. He used to love someone who ruled his life and made him not want to do anything but be with her. But that woman is now out of his life and is about to marry a real-life prince.

Robert picked up Auguste from their house the following morning. It was past midnight when they arrived last night, so Auguste let him take his car home with him. He just instructed him to fetch him the following morning so that they could go together to the office. 


It was past ten AM when they arrived at the office. Everyone greeted Auguste as they walked to his office, but he only stopped when he saw Thirdy talking to some employees in the Finance Department. 


“Auguste! Sir!” Thirdy called him. 


Auguste knows that Thirdy called him like that because he was with other employees. He walked towards them, and immediately noticed the beautiful woman beside Thirdy. He did not notice her because of her beauty. He did see her because she stared at him in awe. 


'Typical,' Auguste thought. That is not the first time that some girl was smitten with him. 


“Good morning!” Thirdy greeted him as Auguste went closer. 


The other employees greeted Auguste as well.
