Track Him Down

Margaret’s mother was transferred immediately to Manila. Tuesday afternoon was when the endovascular coiling was done, and it was a success. The following day, her mother woke up, and upon clearance from her doctor, she was transferred from ICU to a regular room.

“We need to observe her for another 24 hours. If everything went well, then we could discharge her,” the doctor told Margaret and Bernadet. “Although, since she will travel back to Tarlac, I suggest you transfer her directly to a hospital first, for her to be observed if the long travel did not have any effect on her. Then after she is cleared, you can finally take her home.”

“Thanks, Doctor. We will do as you instructed,” Bernadet said.

The doctor left, and the three women were left in the private room.

“Big Sister, I think it’s best if we have Mother transferred back to TGH. At least they already know her history,” Bernadet said.

“I agree. I will arrange for her transfer immediately,” Margaret said.
