It was past four o’clock in the afternoon when Margaret arrived at the office building of the Ortega Group. She went straight to the receptionist to ask where she could find the office of Auguste Ortega.
“Ma’am, Mr. Ortega is not in his office now. He left before lunchtime,” answered the receptionist.
Margaret spaced out upon hearing what the woman said. She was so overwhelmed with her feelings right now that she wants to see Auguste immediately. She wants to thank him for helping her, as well as apologize for all the things she had said the last time they met.
“If you want, you can go back on Monday. I’ll just tell his assistant so that he can put you on Mr. Ortega’s appointment list.”
“No, it’s okay, Miss. Thank you.”
She doesn’t know how she can have a chance to talk to Auguste Ortega, but she doesn’t want to meddle with the important people that he needs to meet. She feels like she should not be included in his appointment list as the CEO of the Ortega Group.
