Auguste gazed at the woman beside him. No, it's not because of the carefree way she drank that beer that made her look so innocent and pure. It's because of the way she just described what true love is.

There were already a lot of guests when Auguste arrived at the venue of the 50th Anniversary Ball of AURELCO. But even so, he was still able to spot Mr. and Mrs. Ocampo who are busy greeting the guests. 


But he did not immediately went to them. He waited for the guests to leave the two alone because he also do not want to interrupt them from greeting the couple. That is very rude, in his opinion, as well as he also does not want to gain a lot of attention by exposing himself to the crowd. 


He was able to find his chance, though. When the couple were already alone, Auguste finally went to greet them. The two immediately saw him as he walk towards them. Mrs. Ocampo even smiled widely when she saw him. 


“Mr. Ortega!” Mrs. Ocampo said. “I’m glad you were able to make it.” 


“Thank you for inviting me,” Auguste said as he smiled back to her. He then looked at Mr. Ocampo. “Good evening, Sir.” 


Mr. Ocampo smiled as a reply to his greeting. “Are you alone?”
