Mission Accomplished

Unlike that time during the royal engagement party in the Melting Pot Hotel, Auguste and Margaret decided to stay inside the ballroom. They were not mobbed by the guests anyway. Sure, there were some who recognized them, but all they did was greet them and say hello.

They sat on a vacant table on the far side of the venue. It was a ten-seater table, but the two of them are the only ones seated there. The table next to them only has four guests on it, so they practically are alone on that side of the room.

The food was immediately served. While they were eating, they continued talking about the events that led to this night.

“Fortunately, Thirdy was able to immediately think of a way for me to get here fast. But that is also because of Geoffroy’s idea. If he didn’t think that it could be possible for me to get here tonight, maybe Thirdy will not come up with that solution.”
