Auguste gazed at the woman beside him. No, it's not because of the carefree way she drank that beer that made her look so innocent and pure. It's because of the way she just described what true love is. 

It's because that's also how love is to him.

It has been years since he felt that for someone. He used to love someone who ruled his life and made him not want to do anything but be with her. But that woman is now out of his life and is about to marry a real-life prince.

Since then, Auguste believed that he will never fall in love again. Never did he think that the woman in front of him now will be that someone who will shake up his world, mess up with his life and distract him forever.

Auguste looked at his cellphone again. Still no message from Margaret. He returned his gaze to his laptop and proceeded to review the contract shown on the screen. He tried to concentrate, but after reading a paragraph in the contract he looked at his cellphone again. 


He has been curious about what happened to Margaret and Fatima since this morning. Was the issue with the former employee of UrbanShop already resolved? Did they imprison the employee? He doesn’t know why but he suddenly became interested in the affairs of the said mall. 


Fatima is also his friend, and like him, she is also a young executive of the company where she works. He knows how it is to be the CEO with the board of directors and other investors expecting you to perform well. Auguste knows that they will not react well when they find out the problem in their collections.
