It was past five in the afternoon when Beatriz decided to prepare dinner for the family. Margaret went and helped her, and later they were joined by Nelina who looks like her spirits are still low.
"Are you sure you can help us now, Nelina?" Beatriz asked.
"Yes, Mother. This is better than being alone in our room. The more that I think about what has happened, the more I feel sadder."
Margaret felt bad with what her sister-in-law just said. If only there is something she can do for her. She has tried contacting her brother's friends, at least those that she knows. But she had no luck as they also don't know where he is. Some didn't even accommodate her.
"Hello!"
Margaret paused. Did she just hear Auguste's voice right now? Has she been too depressed she's already hallucinating?
"Hello!"
They suddenly heard Mac bark.
"Someone's outside," said Faye who is watching TV with her two siblings.
"Who could it be?" Beatriz said as she looked outside their house.
