Auguste gazed at the woman beside him. No, it's not because of the carefree way she drank that beer that made her look so innocent and pure. It's because of the way she just described what true love is.

It has been years since he felt that for someone. He used to love someone who ruled his life and made him not want to do anything but be with her. But that woman is now out of his life and is about to marry a real-life prince.

It’s almost 1:30 in the afternoon when Auguste and Margaret arrived at Tang Gabriel’s. They were immediately greeted by the restaurant’s host, and he accompanied them to the table that Auguste had reserved for them.

That is why even though the sun’s high in the sky, it’s not that hot in the entire restaurant. It is actually quite breezy because of the trees and plants that are in and around the entire place. 


"This place never fails to amaze me," Margaret said. "It's so rustic and cozy, but still has that classy and elegant vibe. Probably because it's so expensive." 


Auguste smiled. "You're still not over the cost?" 


Auguste chuckled. "Well, let's go grab some food so that we could maximize that expensive fee."
