My Extraction System

Quinn's Adam's apple bobbed up and down. Indeed, it was rather scary not knowing what kind of atmosphere would pop up.


However, his anticipation was even greater than his fears.


While he was looking for a suitable location to start the quest of slaying 3 members to pass his original rank, he couldn't help but shake with excitement.


– Exclusive weapons reserved for a particular class.


They all sounded like they were all from video games, sure; but, then again, considering the fact that he had died and just got revived, he couldn't help but stay excited. Even if he stayed as a salted fish, he would still become one of the strongest people in the entirety of the Obsidian Empire.


'And level 40 was when I could get my Class.'


Of course, it wasn't all good news, either. He often spotted ominous-sounding thread titles as he browsed through online forums.


– I chose the wrong class and now I'm bummed out.


– Only if I knew, I'd have gone with a different class, f*cking hell.


– A moment of bad decisions later, I'm quitting my dearest game and returning to the normal society.


– Should I erase this character and start all over again?


….Well, these were also related to video games, anyways.


Suddenly a huge pop-up crept up into his face


"What?" I respond. He was nearly 10 meters away from the guy moving quickly. He was strong enough to get extracted. 


Quinn just scrolled the screen and thoroughly scanned for any useful information. And to his bad luck, he saw it.


[Host may not retrieve skill from a person with less than 1/3rd host's power]


'Fuck, isn't this just to pit him. With all the shit's that's going on, now this?'.


Quinn understood that this restriction was a good one to nerf him and immediately broke 30 plans made by him. He couldn't abuse the skill and take overpowered skills from people who are weak. And with the skill unity, he is bound to gain super op power-ups. 


(Note that unity is the+1 version of the skill belonging to demon king/queen Killian. The original version is called 'unite' and it only displays 50% of the original skill.)


"Aigoo. Start extraction." Quinn says while sighing.

He certainly had far less to worry about here since he can use daggers as his main weapon now. All the skills he had acquired leaned towards the profession of 'assassin'.


'Right, I've got dagger techniques and Stealth as my skills.'


As his thoughts arrived here, Quinn summoned the Dark, matt black dagger from his Inventory.


This feeling of the hilt falling so perfectly in his hand….


'Yeah, this for me is the most comfortable.'


He nodded his head like a wise old sage.


While gripping the dagger tightly, Quinn shifted his gaze towards the message floating in the air.


Now that he was all done with getting ready for any unexpected events, he firmed his resolve and answered the message.


[Will you take on another person to rank up to B rank?] // The protag only ranks up to c+ instead of B directly.


The moment he thought of taking on the quest, another message popped into his view.
