The recruits totally forgot about Roja during the month he trained with Garp.
This month, a message spread like wildfire across the whole camp.
"Have you heard anything about it? The battle evaluation is about to begin."
"Of course, I've heard that all of my previous preparation was for this combat evaluation... and it's claimed that if you come in first or do well, you'll be allowed to join the elite camp and be taught by Admiral Z."
Former Admiral Z was mentioned and adored by recruits. They couldn't help but revere and admire him.
The Marine Corps is not a nursing home; it is where they battle pirates, particularly the elite in command.

The Marine would arrange an evaluation. An real combat assessment, in which all recruits must participate.
The camp is split into two sections: ordinary and elite. The regular camp has approximately ten groups headed by ten teachers, while the top camp has just one group.
After graduation, the highest rank for the elite camp is Captain, while the lowest is Lieutenant Commander.
The most significant aspect is that the teacher of the elite programme is retired Admiral Z.
For all recruits, entering the elite camp is like a dream since all current Marine admirals were trained under Z at the elite camp.
Everyone was giddy thinking about it.
Some individuals are already aware that they do not have a chance, therefore they deliberated on which recruits would be admitted to the elite camp.
"I believe Drake from the fifth group will come in first."
"Drake?... Yes, no one can defeat him. This is much too forceful. I heard he murdered the eighth group's best fighter in a spar."
When he spoke to here, the guy couldn't help but feel terrified.
Even if they are all recruits, the strongest in each group can easily defeat the weakest recruits.
Even the strongest from the eighth group were killed by X Drake's spike; there is no question that he is the strongest this year.
"Yes, Drake is the strongest, but can he still be considered elite?"
Someone in the audience couldn't help but chuckle when they heard this.
"strongest? Didn't you realise that everyone in the elite camp is a monster?"
People standing next to each other glanced to the left and right. The majority of them shook their heads, indicating that they knew nothing about the elite camp. As a result, everyone's gaze was drawn to the person who spoke.
When the recruit saw how many eyes were on him, he took a deep breath, became serious, and stated, "It is claimed that the current elite camp's strongest is someone named Smoker, and he has the Moku Moku no Mi."
"Do you understand what it means?"
Following a brief minute of silence.
Everyone's eyes lit up as they realised what he was saying.
"Isn't that the most powerful kind of devil fruit?" What is the Logia? Is there anybody who can beat him?"
"This is fantastic."
"If this is true, I don't believe anybody can beat him."
...
Outside in the courtyard.
The sun had gone down in the midst of the day.
At this point, Roja is swinging his Honoo no Tsuki down. His arms were getting numb, but he kept going.
He was pushing his body to its limits. Normale training won't work, therefore he had to push himself to his maximum over and over again.
Roja's body was becoming stronger, and pushing beyond the limit became more difficult.
That's OK.
Garp is the instructor. Even when things become tough, he can keep going.
He wields the Soul Sword. As a result, Roja became more interested in swordsmanship, and she would sometimes counsel Garp on the subject.
And Garp's responses exceeded Roja's expectations.
Garp told him that everyone has his own journey in the sword and that there is no set route. The ultimate route is always unique.
Physical strength, arm strength, and movement quickness are required to perform swordsmanship.
In terms of the so-called Rokushiki. It may boost your strength to a certain degree, but it is not recommended that you depend only on it.
Despite the fact that Garp is one of the strongest people in the world, he has seen many great sword masters.
Even yet, such a response from Garp was unexpected. Roja's current training focuses on strengthening his core. Something necessary for sword users.
That is done by just swinging the blade in a shaky manner.
Garp appeared in the courtyard and waved his hand.
"You may take a rest, Roja."
"All right?"
Roja came to a halt and stared at Garp curiously.
Garp didn't suggest go rest once this month, despite the fact that Roja was so into the training that he exhausted all of his strength while practising. So why is he informing him now?
Garp placed his finger up his nose, looking at Roja, and added, "The combat evaluation, which all recruits are required to attend, will begin tomorrow."
Despite the fact that Garp can easily get Roja out of the assessment. He was adamantly opposed.
Even though Roja's skill and determination are formidable. He still needs real-world fighting experience. He has to be exposed to actual blood if he is to become robust.
"What exactly is that?"
Roja's eyes sparkled as he heard Garp's remarks and caressed his slightly raised grin.
Roja discovered a long time ago that the energy in the soul system increases quicker in a genuine fight.
Not to add that Roja has long desired to put his strength to the test in a genuine fight, so he will not turn down a challenge.
Now that his sword of the soul has been strengthened to +6, even if he is still a long way from the Shikai in the fifth stage, he is not far from the third stage, and he will most likely undergo another change in the third stage.
So Roja was looking forward to getting that level up.
