Departure

The following day.

Large warships were moored in front of the Marine Corps' massive port, and groups of recruits were boarding them as they arrived.

A total of 10 big warships, each with one set of trainees from the regular camp, were boarding with them; in addition to the recruits, five vice admirals were also boarding with them.

Despite the fact that they are just from the regular camp, they have been given the opportunity to join the elite camp in the future. In order to guarantee their safety while they are out on the water doing the evaluation, the headquarters sent five vice admirals.

Soon after, battleships began to depart the port and make their way out to sea.

However, the strangest thing about the situation was that only nine out of 10 ships had departed, with the tenth ship still parked on the beach with no indication of departing.

The recruits on that battleship were initially calm, but after some time they started to get restless. Normally, all of the ships would depart at the same time, but this was not the case this time.

Some individuals snorted and grumbled under their breath.

"Can you tell me when we are going to start?"

"The other team has already begun; what about us?"

Despite the fact that things did not devolve into chaos, many of the recruits were unhappy and started to express their displeasure.

And at this point in time

Someone has travelled a long way and has boarded the ship without stopping.

Roja was the gentleman who boarded the ship.

(Tl: Regarding the lack of a Ja in the Japanese alphabet, I believe there is a Ja in Kanji.)

"Please accept my apologies for being late."

Roja said this while moving, then sought a secluded spot in the corner and sat. He didn't even bother to explain why he was late. He was quiet and reserved. Moreover, he didn't engage in much conversation with the recruits in the first place.

Even though Roja was no longer a tiny child by this month, the majority of people still knew him. After all, he had only been in the camp for a month at the time.

With the entrance of Roja, the voices of all the recruits came to a halt. Those who were there were taken aback by what they were seeing.

Is it possible that the battleship stayed behind to wait for Roja?

After a short period of quiet, a loud bang could be heard.

"Can you tell me what this is?"

"Did we really have to wait this long for him? "Didn't he already say he was quitting?"

This is still too much for me, even if he is the nephew of Vice-Admiral Garp."

The majority of the recruits regarded him with disdain and expressed their dissatisfaction with him.

Initially, they were agitated as a result of the evaluation. Consequently, even with a little detail such as this, they expressed deep displeasure.

Only a handful of the recruits maintained their composure. One of them was X Drake, a member of the ordinary camp who was well-known for being the strongest. However, when he met Roja, he saw a flare in his eye.

This man... he grew in strength over time."

Drake had previously unconcerned about Roja, but when he saw him today, he recognised the transformation that had occurred in him. as though he were a completely other person

However

However, despite the fact that Roja seems to have become much stronger, Drake does not seem to care.

Originally, he was considered the worst person in the whole camp. Even if he has gone through some kind of transformation this month, how much can someone change in a single month?

Because, after all, X Drake's objective is to be the first in the camp, not the first in the group.

After a few moment's consideration, he shifted his gaze away from Roja and seemed not to notice.

as the new recruits grow more boisterous. The vice admiral looked at me with a stern expression and stated

"Silence, please!!!"

With this, the battleship was able to return to its previous level of silence. While the majority of people kept their tongues shut, a disgruntled expression remained on their faces when they looked at Roja.

All of the dissatisfied expressions vanished in an instant when the camera was turned off.

Because all of the officials on the vessel, including the Vice-admiral, were saluting, and because over there two men clothed in Marine uniforms were strolling slowly side by side, a plethora of expressions of awe and respect emerged in the eyes of the audience.

Garp is one of these characters.

While the other walks step by step, building a magnificent momentum with each stride, the other is standing still. Everyone admired and appreciated him.

"He is the new top camp teacher at Marineford, but he is also a... Admiral (retired) of the Marine Corps"

"It's no surprise they'll be waiting here. They had been waiting for Admiral Z and Vice Admiral Garp at the time of the incident. "Why would they even bother waiting for that guy?" they wonder.

When the recruits saw Garp and Z, their expressions of dissatisfaction vanished. Many people expressed their admiration for Garp and Z by looking at them.

At this point, no one was paying attention to Roja's situation.

Garp and Z were the only ones who were visible to the audience at this point.

While Garp was boarding the ship, he swept his eyes over the deck till he came upon Roja's body. He smiled and then immediately went inside the top cabin with Z.

To ensure that Z and Garp were there, the vice admiral glanced at the recruits and stated

As a result, Vice-admiral Garp and Chief Instructor Z will be in attendance, so put up a nice show for them.

"Yes."

The recruits were lined up in a row.

They were watching Z and Garp board. The recruit becomes enthused since Garp and Z will be there to directly see the evaluation.

Only Roja, who was seated in the corner and even casually lounging between two cannons, seemed to be enjoying herself at all. He didn't even bother to look at the new recruits.

Then he lowered his gaze.

Drake took notice of Roja's look. Even before he arrived, Roja was paying close attention to Drake's every move.

Not because he is the fifth Group's most powerful member, or because he is the most powerful member of the ordinary camp, but because he is one of the Supernova from Luffy's period. He used to be one of the Supernova, but now he's simply a recruit.

After being promoted to rear admiral, Drake revolted against the Marines and became a pirate, for reasons that are still unclear.

It is unclear if he has already obtained the old Zoan devil fruit or not.

Roja just gave a small shake of his head, and he stopped looking and caring.

The battleship eventually sailed away at top speed, and soon there was nothing but the water around them.

This is where a large number of sea kings reside. At various points during the day, you could see those enormous monarchs emerge from the water and then go back into it.

This massive spacecraft was powered by a turbojet. Consequently, it can easily sail even in the absence of wind, and even if they did not have the turbo, they would still have Garp and Z.

Eventually, they landed to a tiny island in the Pacific Ocean.

There were numerous tiny islands that formed an archipelago, and those islands were home to a variety of plants. Every now and then, a roar may be heard from deep inside one of the islands, signalling the presence of something dangerous. It was really stunning.

The other nine warships were moored in various locations around the archipelago, and the battleship on which Roja was travelling eventually came to a halt near the end of the archipelago on a tiny island.

"This is the location where you will get your evaluation."

Following docking, The vice admiral addressed the whole group of recruits. Garp and Z, on the other hand, did not appear.
