"Are there pirates on this island?"
When the recruit stared at the island while hearing the roars emanating from it, he was filled with apprehension.
"Fight pirates?" scoffed the vice general. You're much too sensitive. Pirates are ruthless and callous. It is more appropriate for this assessment to take place here."
"It is not your job to battle and kill every creature you come across. With the exception of heavy weapons, there are no restrictions on weaponry. So guns are acceptable."
Each creature you hunt will provide you with a number of points. More points will be awarded to the stronger monsters over the lesser ones. It is possible to hunt in a group, but the points will be distributed evenly among all of the members." The Vice Admiral spoke himself.
When he suddenly became more serious, the whole room became silent a few seconds later.
Despite the fact that they were recruiters, they were not just any ordinary individuals. Despite this, they felt shivers go down their spines and down their arms.
Drake was one of just a few of individuals that looked the same as one another.
There was a look of astonishment on Roja's face when she realised that the test wasn't about battling pirates, but about fighting monsters.
This was something Garp should have known, but neither Roja nor the Former inquired, and the Former did not reveal. The fact that he didn't say anything intentionally doesn't mean that he didn't remember.
"This island is full with monitoring equipment, including surveillance equipment in the sky," the vice admiral said after taking a few moments to reflect on his response.
"These monitoring devices will serve as a record of everything you murder; furthermore, if someone encounters a problem, we will dispatch someone to save him, but he will be disqualified."
"However..." says the author. The Vice-Admiral said gravely, "This still ensures the safety of all parties involved." The strongest monster in this place will destroy any of you who come into contact with him before assistance can arrive."
"Make a note of the time so that we can reconvene in three days from now." I wish you the best of luck."
Ordinary maritime training did not include this kind of hands-on experience. However, since they are the elite of the Marine Corps, the recruits in the Marineford must go through this baptism. Elites will not be born until they have gone through the crucible of blood and fire, as the saying goes.
Soon, the whole group of recruits arrived on the island.
The vast majority of them were armed. The others were armed with swords or other kinds of weaponry, such as spears.
Roja and Drake are a couple.
Drake only brought a sword and an axe, while Roja only brought the Honoo no Tsuki (Sword of the Wind).
Because there were so few individuals who didn't have weapons, they drew a lot of attention, and the majority of people looked at them with jealousy and amazement, like when Drake descended from the vessel.
Drake's strength was well-known to everyone, and in their opinion, he is very powerful and does not need guns since conventional weaponry are ineffective against him.
Roja had also gotten down at this point.
Unintentionally, he was seen by a large number of individuals. They were taken aback by Roja's lack of weaponry and the fact that she just carried a sword.
The way they were staring at Drake, they got the impression that he was sure in his power and that Roja was just being cocky.
Didn't he realise that this examination is very risky for him? He is almost certainly going to die.
The majority of recruits seemed to regard him as an idiot, but then someone remarked
"Did you come here only to die?" .
Hina also took notice of this scenario
She couldn't keep her hands still, so she reminded him, "I recommend that you carry a pistol with you." "This examination is going to be very dangerous."
Hina mentioned something unexpectedly, but Roja didn't say anything. When I looked at her, I had the distinct impression that she was familiar. He had forgotten about her till the following time. Isn't this the same Hina who ate the demon fruit Ori Ori no Mi in the first place?
However, it seems that she did not consume the food.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not allowed to use firearms." Roja shrugged his shoulders as he stared Hina in the eyes.
Despite the fact that there are some powerful individuals in this world who use guns, Roja chose the path of the sword rather than the path of the rifle. Furthermore, as he is presently, conventional firearms are incapable of doing any damage on him.
"You!!!"
Despite the fact that Roja was speaking the truth, when Hina heard it, she assumed that he was deceiving her. She didn't say anything else and just disappeared into the wilderness.
Hina's attitude was likewise met with a snort from Roja. He felt completely powerless. She became enraged at him despite the fact that he simply spoke the truth.
He shook his head and continued on his way into the forest's depths as well.
…
The inside of the battleships.
On the other side of a large room filled with projected pictures. All of the archipelagoes were shown on the displays.
All of the teachers were there and paying attention to the presentation in this room. If there was any danger, they were keeping score for each member of their group and prepared to rescue any of them who were in trouble.
With regards to Instructor Z, he crossed his arms while checking the monitoring screen, while Garp was munching his rice crackers next to Z's side of the table.
"Does that look like your nephew Roja?" Z inquired of Garp while pointing to one of the computer displays.
"Yes."
Garp responded in a nonspecific manner, as if he were disinterested. In reality, he should be the one who is most worried in this situation.
"I've heard that you had him train with you for a month. However, prior to it, he was the lowest rated of all the prospects. Despite the fact that you want him to join the elite camp. I believe it will continue to be difficult."
Z With a shake of his head, he looked at the screen, which showed Roja going through the woodland.
In Z's opinion, a month was much too short since Roja was so terrible that, even with Garp's unique training, he assessed that he wasn't all that strong at this point.
However, since he is Garp's nephew, Z was not concerned about admitting him into the elite camp and teaching him regardless of his performance. In the end, he'd been Garp's buddy for decades at this point.
"Haha haha, Z, I believe this child is stronger than you think he is." Then, after listening to Z, Garp took a bite out of the rice cracker and swallowed, all the while giggling.
"Oh, my God!! Let's see what happens."
Garp's comments were heard by Z, and he responded. He didn't go on to dispute with him any more. He didn't say anything, but kept staring at the television.
