Chapter Eleven Chapter Eleven

The next day started with Marco going out for a walk. He had always cultivated the habit of working out to keep fit, but ever since the issue of him being a werewolf, he had stopped. This morning while he was out for a walk, he felt refreshed and free from all his problems, at least for the main time, he hadn't felt this way in a long time. He stopped by a long wooden bench to take a break. He sat down and took out his water bottle to drink as he was famished.

With his hand running through his hair, he became lost in thoughts again. "Tundra, do you ever think all this will be over someday? I mean..*sigh*..i know so little about myself and yet i have so many people that most likely want to kill me, you know? I just.." Marco was overwhelmed with everything, it still felt unreal.

"I understand how you feel, Marco. You are yearning to know more about who you are, your powers, your origins, the source of your powers, who you are generally. You will get all your answers. Fortunately, it's not so late in the morning. i will answer all your questions, but i will not just tell you..i will show you."

"Wha-What do you mean? ", he asked, confused.

"I mean that i will show you who you are. I will show you Allariz, the realm of the werewolf pack. "

"Wait, hold on. Do you mean i will get to see werewolves..real werewolves? I have so many questions.."

"Take it easy. For you to visit Allariz and be safe, you need to stay hidden which is why you won't go in your true form. Going as a werewolf is way too dangerous, you could get spotted. If you are not in your true form, you could go to Allariz without even being seen, you will take on human form. With this, you will be invincible to the regular werewolves."

"Okay, this is so exciting. When do we leave? I'm dying to know how the place looks like."

"Yes right away, but we must find a secluded place to open a portal to Allariz. Somewhere like an empty forest will do."

Soon after, Marco got up from the wooden bench to go to any nearby empty forest. In a short while, he found a forest.

"Okay we're here. What next?'

"Marco, from here on out, you will have to listen to everything i say. No questions."

"Okay, got it. If I don't? Just curious."

Tundra burst out in laughter and smirked afterwards.

"Trust me, you don't want to know what happens to werewolves who are not fully bonded and found loitering the grounds of Allariz."

Marco gulped down his saliva as Tundra was being creepy like always.

"Um, why don't we get to it?", asked Marco as he was trying to disrupt the awkward silence that just erupted.

"Yes. Take a seat. Concentrate."

Marco took a seat on the floor and crossed his legs.

"Okay what next?"

"To create a portal, you need to harness your wolf powers.

Try tapping into the bond we share, and concentrate. You will feel a rush of power surge through your body. Can you feel it?"

Marco did everything Tundra had told him to. Concentrating on the bond that existed between them, he felt something. A type of energy that he hadn't felt before.

"Ye-Yes i can feel it! The power you're talking of. It was only for a brief moment but i felt it."

"You're making a lot of progress. Half bonded werewolves like yourself don't normally make as much progress in such little time as you just did."

"Wait, hold up. How am i not fully bonded if i have bonded with my wolf spirit? I thought that bonding with you would have made me a fully bonded werewolf by now.

"A werewolf is only fully bonded after he can transform. For now, you can't transform, so you are not fully bonded yet. It's still to early to learn transformations, so the first stage is at least knowing where your powers originate from."

"Concentrate on the bond we share and channel that energy in only one direction. Think of the place where you want to create a portal for, and absorb the energy of the surrounding environment. This energy, if you concentrate well enough, will create a portal to Allariz.

Marco did everything he had been told, feeling the surge of power again, he concentrated all this power and created a portal leading to Allariz.

The portal was bright and swirled like a hurricane. Marco put one of his hands inside,. His hand was on the other side of the portal and he could feel cold fresh breeze flow through his bare skin. The atmosphere of the other side was different and peaceful. He removed his hands just a few minutes afterwards.

"Wow i can't believe i did it! So is this the portal you were talking of?"

" Yes you have created your first portal to another world. We must hurry as there a lot of things you need to know."

Marco proceeded into the portal and his whole body was transported to the other side of the portal. On the other side was Allariz, the realm of the werewolf pack. It was a beautiful city full of werewolves with majestic forests and open fields filled with wild flowers of every colour. There were farms surrounded with rich crops and small, charming houses. All these made Allariz a very beautiful place. The only thing that terrified Marco was the fact that the population was filled with werewolves. These werewolves were about 6 foot tall, stood on their hind legs and roamed the city. They were enormous, as tall as horses, but thicker, much more muscular. Their long muzzle grimaced, revealing a line of dagger-like incisors. Grisly snarls rolled out between their teeth, rumbling across the clearing like a prolonged crack of thunder. There were so huge that if he he hadn't been informed of them being werewolves, he would have thought they were bears.

"Wow they are so huge. If i wasn't invincible right now, i would probably have been dead by now, huh?"

"Yes. Definitely. Your heart will make such a good meal. You have a strong inner spirit, you think you're weak without truly tapping into your real power. You are actually strong, if only you would focus more. Anyway, our coming here is for this purpose, to enable you to tap more into your powers. I will take you somewhere, Ansbanch."

"Wait, what do you mean by my heart making a good meal?! Do werewolves actually feed on hearts?"

"Uh, well yeah. They feed on hearts but i don't think you should worry too much about that, as long as your bond is strong, your powers will be strong. That is exactly what we need to fix, which is why we need to hurry."

With this, Tundra directed him to Ansbanch. It was like the Hall of Fame for past werewolves. It was a sacred place filled with murals, paintings and portraits of the strong past werewolves. The walls also contained the legend of a war or something like that. The illustrations were written in a weird language that Marco couldn't understand. The illustrations that Marco could see however involved not only werewolves, some other creatures that he couldn't recognize. They all seemed to fighting for something. Something was written under these illustrations but he just couldn't comprehend them.

"Tundra, what is this? I don't know why i have so much curiosity towards this."

Tundra knew what it meant but he couldn't tell him, just not yet. But he had really hoped that his fears will not turn out be true.

" It's nothing, probably a old legend, there were a lot of wars back in the day. This is probably one of them. I have something to show you."

Tundra directed him towards the weapons area. There were katanas, swords, bows and arrows, warrior suits. Literally any weapon required by a warrior to fight in battle. Marco pulled out one of the swords and swung it around. He touched the edges, to confirm how sharp the weapons were.

"Why have you brought me here?"

"To increase your chance of being able to transform, you have to increase your stamina, so you will have to train. We will have to be coming here constantly. Now that you know more about your origins, it should be easier to---"

Marco heard some voices just outside where they were.

"Do you hear that? Some people are talking outside."

Marco went towards where the voices were talking.

"It was werewolf too, but it seemed different, stronger. It had something like a bright shining pearl on its head. Just a look in its pitch black eyes could make one petrified. Even with all the fear Marco had, he still stood to listen to what they were saying.

"Who is that?", he asked.

"It's the Head Wolf, we must leave as fast as possible. He could spot you. The invisibility trick won't work on him, he is stronger than others.

"Wait, they seem to talking about something important, let's listen."

" All the legends are being fulfilled. It was said that when the chosen one is to be born, there will be as sign. Our portion of the fire seal has started glowing, which means the power is closer to us than we realize."

The head wolf walked to the direction of the other werewolf and picked him up from his neck, tightening his grip on his throat.

"You know that if you are wrong about this, you will be severely punished. Think about your actions now.", said the head wolf as he threw him to the ground as if he was a piece of paper.

The werewolf was coughing, as the head wolf's grip on his throat were quite strong.

"Yes. I am not wrong, i am very sure about this", said the werewolf as he knelt down on one knee.

" My loyalty is to you, my master. I could never double cross you."

"If that is the case, deploy units of warriors to guard our portion of the fire seal. Make sure no one gets in or out. When the time is right, we will send spies to the other realms to find out what the other mythical creatures are up to. If this is true, then they must all have plans."

"Oh no, this is bad.", said Tundra. We must leave here at once. Create the portal now.

The head wolf could feel the presence of someone, as if he was being watched.

Marco had already created the portal and was about to go inside when the head wolf spotted him. Fortunately the head wolf didn't see his face and he was able to escape before the head wolf could stop him.

"Who was that?", as the head wolf as he was raging. Someone was watching them, and he wanted to know who it is, as they had a lot of enemies."

"Find out who that was immediately!", said the head wolf, already burning red with anger, as he left.

**** In Earth***

"Wow he almost spotted us. I could have been dead by the now. Who was he anyway?"

"That was the ruthless head wolf, leader of the wolf pack."

Tundra was really hoping that his fears won't come true. He hoped that things will be different.

"Tundra, i have decided to train and become strong. But first, i will have to see Riley's doctor to find out what more he knows about us. From there, i will start training. I will make sure that i am ready if any danger ever comes our way.", said Marco determined than ever.

This was the start of a new beginning, Marco embracing who he was finally, and he was going to make sure he would do anything in his power to protect himself and Riley.
