Chapter- 6

The room disappeared as Calista ran inside and helped up TJ, thankfully she didn't sprain anything.

"What happened?" TJ asked as she saw the astonished faces of Dean and Calista.

"You…" Dean started to say, but he stopped and looked at the place where the couch landed. Opened his mouth to say something but closed it again.

"Come, TJ, let's get out and I'll explain you," Calista said calmly.

As they came out, Calista made TJ sit on the chair beside her. Dean opted to stand behind Calista, leaning against the wall, still shocked.

"First, I would like to tell you that you have excellent dodging skills. I have never seen a student dodging things without using their powers," Calista said with a smile, and Dean nodded.

"What happened inside?" TJ asked again.

"As per Dean's theory, the more the anger, the more adrenaline which gives a better the result than any possible method. That's what he was trying to do when Dean said things about your parents. You clearly were very angry as there was a spark in your hands almost immediately. He sent a couch for you, and you were ready to dodge it too but your foot slipped, and then you covered your sparkling hands in front of you to protect yourself. Suddenly your palms started glowing so much, and a portal opened, and the couch went straight through it." Calista explained. TJ's eyes widened.

"A portal?" TJ asked Calista.

"Yes, it was like a black hole in the air, just of the size of the couch, and it went through it, and the portal closed as soon as it came. Another portal opened, and the couch emerged other side of the room," Calista informed her.

"You mean I opened a portal and transferred a couch from it?" TJ asked. Both Calista and Dean nodded. "I don't know what to say," TJ was almost freaking out.

"I know what to say," Calista said in her stern voice. "Welcome to Aldcoast High. Your schedule would be given to you with your books and uniform tomorrow," She smiled widely at TJ.

"You have a uniform?" She groaned.

"Yes young lady, we have a uniform and we are very particular about it. Although there is something we welcome at Aldcoast and that is fashion. You can choose the color of the uniform from the colors of the school, and customize it from the patterns you would be given," Calista paused as TJ looked oddly confused. "You can choose the color and design of your uniform," Calista sighed, and TJ grinned.

"This is the best thing ever!" TJ' s excitement earned her an amused look from Calista and a snicker from Dean. "I'll see you later," TJ cleared her throat, and left the room and ran to her parent's room.

As she reached their open room, TJ ran to their bedroom, she hugged them while her mother was lying on the bed, and her father was sitting beside her and laughed. Her parents hugged her back with a smile and pulled away.

"I take it you found out about your powers" Her father gave a warm smile, TJ nodded.

"Yes, I can make portals!" TJ beamed at her parents.

"What? What happened?" Her father asked.

"It appears that I opened the portal of the size of the couch, and transferred it to the other side of the room," TJ told them.

"A portal?" Her mother thought aloud, and TJ nodded. "Wow, I wonder how you got that," She mumbled, but TJ heard it.

"Powers are inherited?" TJ was confused. Her parents looked at each other.

"No, not really. It varies. Sometimes if the genes are strong they are inherited, like I got my mother's energy manipulation, because my father was a human," TJ's father explained.

"Maybe your genes made something different. Maybe little Isadora has one of your powers," TJ said, and her parents looked at her with an expression of awe.

"Isadora?" Her mother asked with a smile.

"Oh yeah. I was researching baby girl names and thought maybe you could consider Isadora," TJ said with a sheepish smile.

"It's a beautiful name, sweetie. Of course, we would call your sister Isadora," Her father said with a smile.

"Yes, Isadora is perfect, Isadora Clarice von Stein. What do you guys say?" Her mother asked happily.

"Perfect," Her father said and bent to kiss his wife.

"Ew, ew, I am outta here," TJ got up from the bed and ran towards the door as her parents laughed.

TJ left her parents and went to her room. As soon as she locked her door and turned around, she smiled to see Asher standing with his arms open. TJ rushed to him and hugged him tightly as Asher hugged her back.

"I'm so proud of you," Asher breathed into her hair.

"And I love you," TJ told him, kissing where his heart is.

"I knew you'll figure out," Asher kissed her hair.

"You have too much faith in me," TJ told him, looking up at him as Asher smiled.

"Always," Asher said before touching his lips with hers as TJ smiled into the kiss.
