Daisy

Renessa sat transfixed in her room with hatred on her face. Her body trembled violently after her argument with Rudi. She was hurt by the hatred thrown at her but at the same time, she hated that man for ignoring her and her mother.

No, he's the only one who seems to still expect his father's love and affection, while his father? The man was trying desperately to get rid of it.

Rudi hasn't changed. The man was still staring at her with the same hatred as when she was still a kid.

All the way home, she hoped that a miracle would happen. Although she is a very rational person, she wants a miracle where her father warmly welcomes her with open arms and welcomes her. No step-mother and step-sister drama.

She even hoped that everything that she heard was a scenario where Uncle Jefry was the real villain. That the man tried to destroy the bad relationship between her and her father then took all her property. However, there was nothing wrong with Uncle Jefri's words, her father didn't want her in his new life.

Her father tried to erase her and her mother's shadow that haunted him in his happy marriage.

Renessa recalled all of Uncle Jefri's words when she met him at that time.

Uncle Jefri and his family have been working as lawyers for the Pramata Family for a long time. Uncle Jefri's family has worked in their family for generations and this man is also a good friend of Claudia Pratama, Renessa's mother. It was just the drama in her mind that she felt that Uncle Jefri had unrequited love for Claudia and he never dared to confess his feelings to her until Claudia finally married Rudi.

Uncle Jefri was very surprised when he heard Renessa's story, who lived in poverty in her dorm. All this time, he thought Renessa lived in luxury since she always received quite a lot of monthly money from her mother's will. He knew this because he was one of the lawyers who handled Claudia's and Herman's wills. As for her grandpa's will, it said that she

At that time, Renessa could not believe what Uncle Jeff said and tried to think positively about her situation. She tried to convince herself that her father might be having money issues and was busy with the problem in his company. That's why he had never contacted her and gave her only a small amount of money.

Or maybe because her father wanted her to be more independent and frugal when living by herself.

However, after thinking back on Uncle Jefri's words, Renessa realized that her father just hated her. No other reason. What made Renessa even more disappointed was when Uncle Jefri said that his father had moved his mother's grave somewhere.

Claudia really liked the garden behind their house because it was always full of flowers and very refreshing. When Claudia was sick she often asked the maid to take her there for a while. Looking at the beautiful flower and breathing the fresh air gave her peace of mind. Renessa often played there with her mother. Once, her mother told her that her grandfather, Herman Pratama, especially made this beautiful garden for her.

At the end of his life, Claudia asked to be buried there since that place was beautiful and always brought her peace.

Herman, who really loved his only daughter, of course agreed to his daughter's wish and buried Claudia in the garden behind the house. He has discussed with several officials in his area to be allowed to bury his daughter in the garden. Herman's request was easily approved because Renessa's family yard was quite large.

Renessa remembers visiting her mother's grave every morning accompanied by Rosalin. She was never afraid or anxious even though she was there alone. She knows her mother will always look after her from heaven.

Because of that, Renessa was very surprised when Uncle Jefri said that her father had moved her mother's grave somewhere. Uncle Jefri even had to ask for the help of a detective agency to investigate this matter but up till now her mother's remains were never found.

Uncle's Jefri's detective could not find the exact location of Claudia's grave. He found several suspicious tombs based on his investigation. But he didn't know for sure whether the tomb really belonged to Claudia or someone else's. The lack of CCTV and witnesses around the place means the detective is still unsure of his conclusion. He had started to ask the official in the area for permission to investigate the grave, but he was rejected since the family related to the person buried there might suddenly appear and protest.

If they want to go on with the investigation, they need to find the family of the one buried and ask their permission. Therefore right now the detective is still trying to investigate the matter.

Renessa couldn't believe hearing Uncle Jeff's accusations. She did not believe that her father would do such a heinous thing to her mother's grave. Moreover she thought that it was just ridiculous. Even if he wanted to remarry, why did the grave disturbed them? Her mother had died. It was unlikely she would wake up and do something to them.

There were many reasons, many excuses in her mind that told her that Uncle Jeff was wrong. She did not ask Rosaline for a confirmation because she was afraid it was the truth. Even on her way back, she kept telling herself that it could be a misunderstanding and she would only believe when she saw the proof with her own eyes.

And when she returned today she felt her heart sink to find a small fish pond in the place of her mother's burial mound.

Renessa just stood there for a few minutes when Rosalin recounted the incident when Rudi moved Claudia's grave. Many maids protested Rudi's actions and resigned right away because they felt that Rudi's attitude had gone too far. At that time, most of the maid and footman worked for Claudia and Herman and they were very disappointed at Rudi's attitude toward his wife and daughter. It was the last straw that finally snapped when the man moved Claudia's dead body somewhere.

Renessa held back her tears that would spill over at any time while staring at the spot that had once been her mother's grave.

She was a little sorry for her rash actions but she couldn't hold back her emotions when she saw all the evidence of her father's injustice. She realized that by doing something like that her father would be more aware of her and put his guard up but when she heard that her father's new wife threw away all the objects left by her mother, Renessa suddenly became dark-eyed and all she could think of was avenging what her stepmother and step-sister had done.

She should pretend to be weak and try to get close to her father but she knows the process will take a very long time.

Renessa sighed before looking at the small wooden box on the table. Just right after Marry's things were moved and all the maid left the room, Rosaline came to her room and handed her the small box.

Renessa was a bit surprised since before she left with her father, she handed the box to Rosaline and asked her to keep it and wait until she's back. She never came back after that night, but Rosalin kept her promise by keeping the box safe.

She sat in the chair and looked at the wooden box. It was dirty. Rosalin said that she was sorry for making the box dirty, but she could only bury the box in the garden one time. Renessa opened the box and understood the reason why the box was better buried. Inside the box was her mother's gold bracelet, ring, earring, and necklace. It was a set with a red stone as the flower. Beside the jewelry set, there were also her red hairpins and her favorite collection of colorful hair bands that was given by her grandfather.

She frowned when she found a flash drive on it. She never remembered having that. Her confusion did not last for long. When she took the flash drive up, she noticed the daisy ornament that hung on the flash drive. It was also given by her grandfather. Her grandpa made her promise to give it to her if she took care of it and never lost it.

She wondered what was inside the flash. At that time she did not think much of that flash drive, but now she wondered what was inside. It could be just a broken flash, or it could be filled with something unimportant. There should not be anything important inside since the old man must have taken it from her since the thing she was interested in was the daisy ornament.

She then took her laptop from the bag that was right beside the bag. She plugged in the flash drive and waited. It took some time for the flash to proceed. She blinked in surprise when she found several videos and documents on it. The name of the video was Birthday 10 to Birthday 17 and some of the document names for my daughter Nesa there were 10 of them. Only a document and a video had the name My little daisy's 17th birthday).
