Impolite

"Where are you going? I thought we were talking." Renessa said once again with ridicule in her voice.

"Why don't you come back here so we can speak more freely?" Renessa asked when the maid did not show any sign of turning back to her.

In her mind, she thought that the maid was rebelling against her and did not want to listen to her. Little did she know the woman was afraid that she did not dare to turn around or go back to Renessa.

It's okay. She was just a little girl that lived abroad for about a decade. It already shows how insignificant her presence is in this house. She was just the master's first unfavored daughter . Rudy abandoned her all this time and chose Mary over her. Although she tried to act high and mighty, she was not that important. After thinking about that briefly, the confidence was back in the woman's head. She turned around and looked at the girl and suddenly, all her previous nervousness was gone.

Because of her nervousness, the man unconsciously ignores the part where even though Rudi did not want her there, they can't get rid of her. If she was a bit clever, she should have been thinking the reason Renessa was still occupying the room even though Rudi was back. She should not be thinking much since the answer were clear. Even Rudi can't get rid of Renessa even though he hated her so much and only acknowledge mary as his only daughter.

The maid turned around and walked toward Renessa. Her face was still smug and it started to annoy Renessa.

Renessa was quite surprised by the attitude of this very brave maid. She was a bit confused whether to praise her for her loyalty or to mock her for being so dumb. As high as she wanted to act on the matter, in the end, she was just a maid. She was still beneath her.

Renessa was aware that her sudden presence had taken many of the maids by surprise, let alone the new maids who didn't know anything about her. Her sudden appearance and her actions in seizing Mary's room make her an antagonist in the Santoso happy family. But the mere maid did not have the right to scold her. She could accept it if Rudy scolded her, she could

"What do you want?" The maid asked in a haughty tone.

The maid's demeanor made Renessa wonder if it was possible that her shabby and frail appearance right now made her look like a mouse to an eagle in front of her?

Renessa laughed sarcastically at the maid's slightly impolite question.

"Come closer," Renessa smiled at the woman while waving her hand, asking the maid to come closer. Although a soft smile was planted on her face, it was so different with her cold voice. Hearing Renessa's cold tone, the maid suddenly regretted everything she had done a little.

Vina took a look at the girl that was just several steps away from her with ridiculousness. After looking at her for several seconds, her heart calmed down again. Although her face showed ignorance but her heart beated like crazy, Yeah. She could not do anything to me. Even if she did, I will be fine till the end.

"Just say whatever you want to say. I am not deaf," the woman said arrogantly without moving from her spot.

She had just come home with Mary, the child she had taken care of all this time. Unlike other maids, she had the privilege to join the family gathering since Mary always needed her. She is Mary's favorite servant who has taken care of Mary since the girl moved into the house. Laura even trusted her very much and left all matters related to Mary to her. So, when Mary had to go somewhere, she would always follow the family because she was the one who knew Mary's needs best.

Vina was shocked when she came back and heard the story of several servants about the appearance of Mary's half-sister. She was flustered to the point that she lost her voice for a minute. It was unlike she never heard about Renessa before. She had heard that Rudi did have a daughter from his previous marriage, but since she had never seen the girl or even found any trace of the girl in the house, she only thought that it was just a mere rumor. Her master and mistress had never spoken of this daughter, so the only thing she could do was to just ignore the rumor.

She became even more speechless when the maids told her that the girl who had just appeared had threatened to destroy all the furniture in Mary's room if they didn't move all Mary's belongings into the guest room as possible.

Vina's anger overflowed when she heard this. Mary's room was the best room in the mansion aside from the master suite. Of course, that impudent girl wanted the best room for herself. Vina was initially a little worried that her master was starting to ignore Mary after the arrival of this new lady, but the sound of Rudi's screams this afternoon revealed the beautiful reality that this girl was not welcome in this place.

Vina did not waste any more time and quickly planned revenge for Marry. Nothing came to her mind for the entire afternoon. It was until she walked to the kitchen that she heard one of the maids delivering food to Renessa's room.

Vina immediately volunteered. When she brought the food, she deliberately spat on the soup in the bowl. She would give this young lady a bit of warning not to get her head high. She was sure nothing would happen to her because she was Miss Mary's favorite servant.

Prang

Vina's body froze as she looked down on the food tray on her feet. The pieces of broken glass scattered everywhere, and several plates on the tray scattered around Vina's feet, waking her from her reverie. Luckily she was fine and did not get any scratch from the flying glass shards.

It came down to her that the young miss who was not far from her had just thrown the tray of food she had given her at her feet.

"Clean that up in five minutes and bring my food as soon as possible," Renessa said as she looked at her with a mocking gaze before turning and closing the door with a loud slam.

Vina froze for a while before starting to curse the new young miss inside her heart. How is it possible for her boss to have such a rude and ungrateful daughter? Is this the reason he prefers Miss Mary who is gentle like an angel compared to her daughter who acted like a demon incarnate.

Vina quickly frowned as she looked down on the messy corridor. She murmured some dirty words as she turned back to the kitchen. Along the way, she quickly told one of the footmen she saw to quickly clean up all the scattered trash in the corridor to Renessa's room.

With a foul mood, she was preparing Renessa's food in annoyance. But she was still not satisfied and added a spoonful of salt to the soup and water for Renessa.

Vina giggled at the thought of Renessa frowned because of saltiness then grabbed a glass of water only to find that the water had also been mixed with salt. Vina then called a new maid and asked the maid to deliver the special food she had prepared for the new miss of the house.

The new maid looked confused, but she could not refute Vina's words. Vina is quite respected by the other maids because she is Mary's favorite maid.

Renessa was reading a book she had taken from the library when the sound of knocking sounded again. She frowned when she heard a polite and gentle knocking. The voice was also different from the impolite maid's voice.

She stood and opened the door. As she initially thought, a different maid was bringing her food, "your dinner, miss."

"Where is the maid who previously delivered this food to me?" Renessa asked with a smile. She would act like an angel to those who treated her right, but for those who wanted to step on her head, whatever she did would make the devil let out a proud smile.

"She only asked me to bring the dinner for you, miss. After that she just rushed somewhere," the maid answered politely. Unlike all the rumor about the evil new miss, she felt that their miss was quite friendly.

"Please bring it inside, thank you," Renessa motioned for the maid to enter to place a tray of food on the table.

The maid left after a slight bow to Renessa.

Renessa sighed after the maid left. She was quite hungry because she had not eaten anything since this morning. She only consumed a few snacks on the way home and sipped the drink she brought with her. The longing and the nervousness erase her starvation. Now that she had calmed down, that feeling attacked her.
