But after hearing Renessa's words, Laura became a little worried. Her attitude towards Vina could not be said to be too special. She and Rudi sometimes reprimanded and scolded her if she made a mistake, and Mary was often stubborn and defiant. But when Vina showed up and started persuading Mary, the girl melted.

Laura then recalled several instances where Mary had listened to Vina rather than her.

Laura frowned. What if that woman got annoyed with her and took out her frustration on Marry. What if she incited Marry to hate me? When the thought passed Laura's head, her thought had filled with hundreds of scenarios where Mary became a daughter that had not heard her parents' words, another scenario was that Marries career collapsed because of the rumor that her caretaker attacked someone else.

Laura was pensive. She had always trusted Vina so much and never thought about her feelings or her predicament. But all her fear could happen since the woman had shown her what she was capable of.

Renessa smiled at the doubt on Laura and Rudi's faces. She actually had another way if in the end Laura and Rudi still insisted on keeping Vina working there.

She would threaten her father with her wealth. Even though it was actually quite risky, she would try to get Vina out of this house. Perhaps by now most of the servants knew what had happened and keeping Vina in the house would weaken her position as an employer. Actually, she wouldn't have been so angry if Vina had just put salt in, but the woman's attitude of brazenly trying to get Vina out of the house would have weakened her position as an employer.

If at the end of the day, the woman had to get out of her house or she would set a bad example and make a space for whoever the maid wanted to step on her head by licking Mary's foot.

Actually, she wouldn't have been so angry if Vina had just put salt in, but the woman's attitude of boldly spitting on her food left her completely shocked. She was grateful that last night she had thrown the food on the first tray and not tasted it at all. She couldn't imagine if Vina had spit in the soup or water again instead of just adding salt.

Besides, Renessa was also sure the woman would have a big head if she got away with it in the end. She would surely feel proud that her employers trusted her as a servant more than their own daughter.

"You're right, we should fire Vina, Mary's been depending on that woman for too long," Laura said as she turned to Rudi.

Rudi nodded firmly at his wife's decision. He was actually just following Laura and Mary's wishes and decisions, but to be honest he was a little fed up with Vina. The woman was just a servant but she seemed to use Mary for her own personal gain. She would cry and complain to Mary and her daughter would beg at her feet to forgive Vina.

Rudi once confided his doubts to Laura, but she didn't pay much attention to him and said that they should just leave it since Mary had grown attached to the woman. Once she did something out of line again, they would fire her. It was what Laura said, but after that everytime Vina made a mistake, Mary would always back her up and in the end they would forgive her.

"Since the matter is over, I'll leave first. I'll tell Liam to inform her to pack her things and leave the house immediately," Laura said and placed the cell phone in her hand on the table.

"But what about Mary?" Rudi asked as he looked at Laura's back.

"I will bring her out since this would be the time for her meeting in the studio. While we are away, Liam will take care of everything." Laura said coldly without turning back

The room turned silent after Laura left. Rudi looked at Renessa with annoyance because she didn't seem to be leaving the room. She was looking at her with her observing gaze.

"You can get out of my room and leave me alone now," Rudi snapped with a furrowed brow. He didn't want to spend any more time with Renessa. He was sick of seeing Renessa's face that kept overlapping with the girl's mother's.

"I have something to talk to you about," Renessa said calmly.

"I'm busy," Rudi sighed harshly and gave Renessa a sharp look. He didn't need any distractions from this girl. Seeing this girl reminded Rudi of his pesky ex-wife who was so stingy even to death.

"This is about my inheritance," Renessa said bluntly.

Renessa knew her father wouldn't have the patience to talk to her for long, but when it came to her mother's estate, her father certainly wouldn't refuse. Somehow she knew that her father was greedy and wanted her mother's inheritance, he would definitely do whatever it took to get whatever amount of wealth he could get his hands on.

"Tell me what you want!" Rudi said irritably while looking at Renessa's face.

"I want to know where you moved mom's grave?" The question slipped from Renessa's lips. Actually it was not the first thing she wanted to say but because she was impatient anymore, she asked the question unconsciously.

Rudi gave her an annoyed look, "Is this what you mean by talking about your inheritance?"

"If you tell me where you moved my mother's grave, I'll give you a generous monthly allowance," Renessa said confidently even though her heart was racing now.

"What nonsense is this!? Monthly allowance? What do you mean?!" Rudi's words grew colder with each word that slipped from his mouth and suddenly he was struck by something. Rudi quickly opened his laptop and started typing something on it.

Renessa sighed softly at her father's reaction. It seemed her father was smart enough to understand what she was trying to say just from that sentence. Renessa looked at Rudi's face as he fidgeted while typing something on his laptop. After a while his face, which seemed to be reading something from the laptop, turned pale, a moment later anger started to appear on his face.

Renessa's body became a little stiff when Rudi suddenly swept all the objects on the table to the floor. All objects made of glass were shattered. The laptop in front of the man was now lying with a cracked screen in the corner of the room.

"Damn girl! How dare you do this to me! Are you daring to be a disobedient child now?" Rudi's booming voice broke the silence. Renessa felt her hair stand on end when she found Rudi staring at her with bloodshot eyes filled with the desire to kill her.

Renessa's body was petrified as her blood rushed through her body. She wanted to run from that room, but she knew she would only fall after a few steps because her legs were too weak. All she could do now was pretend to be strong so her father would know she had no control over her. It didn't take long to regain her composure. In one blink of an eye, all fear was gone in an instant. She turned to look at Rudi and flashed a sardonic smile.
