Robbed

Renessa and Jefri then talked about light topics until the food was finally served. Both ate heartily and said nothing but compliments about the meal before them.

"So, what about after this? Where do you want to work?" Jefri asked after finishing the food in front of them.

"I don't know yet. I'm actually still confused whether I should go back to college or work first," Renessa was still confused.

"Wow, you're really like your mother who never tires of learning," Jefri laughed amusedly before continuing, "is there a job you're interested in?"

"It's not that I'm interested, it's just that I don't have any work experience yet and I feel that I haven't contributed anything to Horizon Company. I also have no experience in the business world," Renessa said with a gloomy face.

Jefri laughed at Renessa's complaint. He thought her anxiety was a bit unreasonable.

"You have Uncle Dimas, Uncle Yoga, Uncle Elang, and me who can help you with anything. Don't worry, your father won't do anything to you," Jefri tried to calm the girl down.

Uncle Dimas, Uncle Yoga, and Uncle Elang were the Pratama family's lawyers who also took care of Herman and Claudia's inheritance but they were not close to Renessa and rarely followed the news about Renessa.

Although they seem indifferent, they are very loyal to Herman because they owe him a lot. The three lawyers had actually been looking for Renessa's whereabouts in between their work and they were relieved when Jefri finally told them that he had found her.

"So where do you want to continue your studies? What do you want to major in? Your undergraduate program is English literature, right?" Jefri asked again.

"I want to do another bachelor's degree program, maybe management, but I am still not sure," Renessa still looked unsure.

"Nessa, Nessa, are you still worried about the company?" Jefri shook his head when he realized what was still on Renessa's mind.

"You don't need to rush into making a decision, Nesa. Why don't you take a break for a year. Maybe then you'll be more confident in what you want to achieve," Jefri advises.

Renessa sighed heavily. She was actually still confused by everything that had happened. She felt she had chosen the wrong major when she finally had to accept the responsibility of being the owner of the Horizon company. She never thought the company would be her responsibility because she thought her father was the one who was supposed to manage her grandfather's company.

Although Uncle Jefri tried to calm her down with all sorts of aphorisms, Renessa knew she had to rely on herself in the end.

The two chatted for a while until Jefri felt the place getting crowded.

"It's lunchtime, let's move somewhere before this place becomes too crowded," Jefri suggested as he called one of the waitresses to pay the bill.

The place became very crowded at lunchtime because of its location in an office area. Sometimes some customers have to wait to get a comfortable seat.

"Let's take you home," Jefri got up after paying for their meal.

"I'm going to the toilet for a while, uncle," Renessa got up from her chair to walk to the back.

"Nes, I will wait in the car," Jefri said to the girl while Renessa nodded briefly before moving away.

Renessa came out of the toilet and was about to wash her hands when she noticed two beautiful women arguing near the sink. Renessa chuckled in annoyance but she did not want to interfere in this matter and only intended to wash her hands at the sink.

While Renessa was washing her hands, one of the women splashed an iced coffee drink on her opponent who fortunately managed to dodge it nimbly. Unfortunately, it was Renessa who was standing right behind the woman who was splashed with the coffee. She only realized someone had doused her with iced coffee after she felt a cold sensation that soaked her hair and left shirt.

Renessa turned around and wanted to scold the two women but they started grabbing and pulling each other's hair. In the end, Renessa ignored them and cleaned up the coffee spill on her hair and shirt. She spent a long time because her shirt was white and the coffee spilled made it look very dirty.

Some people who entered the restroom started trying to break up the two women, making the atmosphere in the restroom even more noisy. Renessa didn't know how the fight ended as she hurriedly walked out since Om Jefri was waiting for her after feeling a little better.

Renessa glanced at her watch in annoyance. Because of those two women, she had to make Uncle Jefri wait 15 minutes. Renessa grunted in annoyance as she passed by the table where she and Om Jefri had sat earlier and saw that her bag was still there.

Andreas glanced at his watch, a little annoyed that he had been waiting for Wulan for 10 minutes but there was no trace of her anywhere. Andreas picked up the clutch bag Wulan had left behind and opened it, checking the contents. He groaned when he found his mobile phone with a pink casing, Wulan's favorite color, still inside which meant he couldn't contact her.

"Sorry, that's my bag," a woman's soft voice startled Andreas. Andreas looked up to find a beautiful and elegant woman standing next to the table where he was sitting. The woman's face looked a little upset. Her hair and some of her clothes looked wet and Andreas could smell the faint scent of coffee from her body.

"Excuse me?" Andreas asked, confused because he didn't understand what she was saying.

"It's okay. Thank you," the girl said and casually took the clutch bag in Andreas' hand and walked quickly towards the elevator.

Andreas was transfixed for a moment before he realized that he had just been robbed by a beautiful woman. Andreas quickly stood up and walked towards the elevator that was already moving down. He impatiently pressed the down button, but knew that his efforts were in vain as the elevator would not move back up.

Andreas rushed to the fire escape and half ran to the ground floor. He had to find the beautiful robber or Wulan would nag him about her favorite clutch bag being robbed before his eyes.
