Chapter 73: Incident At The Long Bar

Jackie stared anxiously at Bob and she was a bundle of nerves.

“Let’s get out of here,” she muttered.

“Um, why?” Bob asked, then glanced behind him.

He saw a giant of a man striding in their direction with a leering smile on his face. He obviously had his eyes on Jackie. And from her reaction, he figured that man must be Arno Pieterson.

“Take it easy, Jackie. Nothing to worry about.”

“You don’t know this man. He can be quite persistent,” she replied, apprehension written all over her face as she avoided looking at the approaching Arno.

“Aww, if he tries to be funny, there’s always the hotel security.”

Jackie kept her eyes on Bob, looking quite exasperated with his rather flippant response. But before she could say anything else, Arno was standing right next to their table, towering over them.

Jackie gulped. She didn’t know what he was about to say, but she knew it couldn’t be anything nice.
