Chapter 13

Alfred closes his eyes patiently awaiting his death, but suddenly he can feel someone grabing him by the abdomen and blow him away.

The surprised man pronounces after opening his eyes and seeing the boy with the dyed hair who has saved his life,

"And since when have you mastered your skill?!"

"Who knows." He answers with a lot of mystery.

"For now the important thing is that I saved your life."

So Viking you owe me one.

Alfred, who previously distrusted him, now does so more,

'This boy holds many more mysteries for sure.

But what is the logic of keeping his ability hidden so far?

that because of how easy it is for him to dominate hit, it may be from the first test' Meditates,

"You're right." He pauses trying to think about whether he knows his name and continues,

"By the way;

What is your name?"

"Steven" He pronounces unemotional.

"Well Steven, I owe you one."

I am sure that we will be able to be at hand shortly if we continue to see ourselves in situations like this, which are almost certainly going to be repeated many times.

Steven easily moves from side to side as if he is in free fall in all directions, which Alfred notices, and once on the ground he affirms with certanty,

"You can manipulate the gravity that affects your body and everything you touch right."

The boy looks at him with a slight tinge of surprise and responds,

"You're right, that's my ability."

But I don't really like that you are telling everyone what it is.

I'd rather they think I can fly, simple as that.

"Friend, you are very distrustful, you remind me of a certain girl." He comments as he observes Elizabeth who hides very frustrated at not being able to help behind a group of rocks,

"Okay I'll keep it a secret if that's what you want."

Steven comments to him just before turning his back and going flying against the monster that rejoins on the other leg,

"Being like this guaranteed to keep me alive on the streets for a long time."

And just when I decided to trust shortly after I appeared in this place.

Alfred responds as he watches him walk away,

"But these are not the streets friend."

The boy speaks again without looking away,

"From what I have been able to see there is not much difference, it is the same everywhere."

Steven goes straight into the enemy with Alfred staring in awe at his great ability to control the power he was given.

He easily escapes from a blow that sends him when he falls and then moves to one side, escaping the next one again and then he approaches him to make a not too deep cut in the neck because his weapon does not allow him to do too much damage, But long enough for the dark blood to start gushing out.

The demon continues trying to hit him but it is useless against the agility of the boy who effortlessly escapes him and stabs him in the eyes in his arms.

The creature is already very sore and is completely cornered when the others begin to appear along with the ex-military who approach to attack him.

Then he begins to sprout more thorns from the empty holes in his skin.

Then the green haired boy lets out a light laugh and smirks to speak shaking his head at the same time he attacks him again,

"That's not going to work for you this time."

He now attacks him while dodging over and over the useless defensive attacks of his target, performing with a more courteous frenzy on both sides of the neck, to the point that he bled to death.

When the monster is defeated, the satisfied Administrator speaks,

"Excellent work! You met the expectations I had placed on you and therefore I will allow you to leave." The great rock elevation begins to descend and the ruins of the portal light up.

"Enter this portal and you will be safe."

Seeing how the rock descends, I and the others who until now had miraculously resisted, we run with the little strength that we have left towards the portal.

The boy who had proposed the plan of action earlier keeps shooting arrows at the enemy with enviable mastery and precision, supporting the retreat of the others.

I see a demon of colossal dimensions that has a body like a mythical Kraquen but not with very common features but rather the fusion of hundreds of human corpses in a fleshy black mass with around fifty thin tentacles approaching,

"Hey, it's time to go!" He yelled very worried at the boy.

He answers me with the same concern when he sees the new enemy,

"If we don't do something to stop that thing, we won't have time to escape!"

"Don't worry, it's too far, it's not going to reach us ...! It can't be!" I look with terror as four tentacles fly over us that fall, trapping the same number of those who were almost entering the portal, which he squeezes to death, causing their intestines and blood to leak easily, like squeezing a sponge.

I emotionally collapse falling to my knees accepting defeat, when I see that the boy who had warned me of the danger charges his bow and after generating a beam of golden light around his weapon, he concentrates on the tip of his arrow and immediately releases it. .

The arrow hits the very heart of the great mass of bodies and releases an avalanche of energy, like a nuclear explosion destroying the enemy in a fraction of a second and throwing us all inside the portal.
